I think it would be a great thing for "serious" players for the PDGA to offer a lifetime membership. The PDGA could have a great lump some of cash to do projects with and it would be a great service to the serious member who wouldn't have to renew every year. (yeah, I know I'm lazy!)

It might actually save me some money if I live to be "Legends" age!

They already do. It's called the Eagle Club and does, indeed, provide the PDGA with a great lump sum of ca$h. It might be wise to think before jumping on though, "Will the length of the PDGA's life be greater than or equal to that of mine?"

Exclusive Gift ? A swift kick in the pants perhaps ?

To see value out of the Eagle Club membership, on a professional level, you would have to play 26.6 years .

That gift better be something nice like , oh , lets say
a basket ?

I always thought it a good idea currently...there are only a few handfuls that have taken advantage, but over time and with the growth of our sport...I saw it as breaking even or maybe ahead..

20 yrs will tell and I have already been playing for 19...

now send me $2,000 BUSH..or $600..your call :)

i'd guess that most people who send in an Eagle membership are not doing it to maximize the value they receive. just a guess...

Your right. It is not a matter of receiving a "gift", it is more a thought of supporting the PDGA and then being able to be lazy and not ever have to remember to renew again. :D

Most Eagle members do it to support the PDGA , not to save money.

and i hear the gift is a really nice jacket, though I personally haven't seen it.
