Since very few of the non-X-outs are thrown, and the majority of these are bought for collector value, I don't see why a standard release would hurt sales. As long as the USDGC release was small enough to maintain the collector value.

No, but from what I understand they are uber-rare, and this years stamp is a "thrower" with his hand the way it is, not because he has just thrown, but because he is giving something back to us, the players.

I'm suprised everything is hush hush on here today considering that people were probably putting in orders last night on Zonedriven. Weird that no option was given for mold prefernce or plastic type only color/stamp/weight. Should be interesting to see how the partners liked the system that was implemented for folks who didn't want to wait for phone calls.

I would have preferred the call as well. I want a light weight thrower and it was hard to get that across with only pull down menus.

With all of the madness that there has been today I honestly didn't look too hard at the throwers. However, that is one thing that seeme to jump out at me - the Rancho throwers seem to be a tad domey. That doesn't appear to be the case nearly as much with the Sanny Throwers.

How many of the collectors run get thrown?

I've only thrown '01 and '02 collector discs, and those weren't really considered collector discs when they went into my bag.

There is a "Golden Ticket" A collector disc that is a 1 of 1 that may sell enough to get you to the tournament. It also comes with an entry to the USDGC! See the Zonedriven site for more info. It just went up today (Wednesday).

Because the release happened on Thursday I have to wait two extra days to get the precious. (I was unwilling to pay the extra shipping only to have to wait on that!)
My Rocs are sitting at the UPS warehouse right now. But I can't get at them.

I didn't get any eco sannies, but I did get some CH. I've been throwing one since the middle of last week. New, it flies just like I would expect it to, overstable and with less fade than a CH Rancho. I'm replacing my CH Rancho with the Sannie right now to break it in. I think it's going to take awhile.
The CH San Marino is definitely more overstable and resists turnover more than the DX version. I like it, and it will be in my bag for sure.

You know, it's just too early to tell how the CH San Marino is going to fly compared to anything else because it's new.
New, I can say that I think your spot on with your guess. I threw SB Rocs when they were new, and they were much more overstable new than they became when broken in. I think when the CH Sannies get broken in they will fly as advertised. A little less high speed stable and less fade than the CH Rancho. My DX San Marinos are already doing this with weeks of break in time.

Where there any thrower/FS made that were under 170? I would be interested in any sanny thrower/FS under 170. I have several max weight ranchos or a sanny to trade.

There has to be some out there. I have a 172g. I will try and bring it to work tomorrow and see if in fact that is the correct weight or if it's lighter.

If anybody wants some, they better hurry. only the F/S are left. no more throwers

Just got done tossing a 180 champ sanny thrower. freakin sweet. lots of glide and it can be cranked on. not great for touch shots. if thrown lightly, it flies like a champ rancho. if you lay into it, it goes! it flies like a sanny. dead straight at high speeds and a soft gentle hyzer finish.i normally toss 11x KCs. I get about 320-330 solid d on them. i was throwing this sanny in the 340-350 range. i have some more champs and ecos coming today. I cant wait to get my hands the golden ticket!

Yep, thats right. The golden cannon is still with its original owner and the USDGC was a blast. Too bad it wasn't a numbered collector, but I still had the time of my life and makes me want to get back some day! :) Play to win and practice more.
