This event is next weekend. How about some updates on what teams are going, who are the favorites? I am leaning towards the Southern Teams from U of AL, UAB , Ga and Ca.
Wish we had more info available on here. Maybe more teams would go. I'm sure it will grow every year from now on.

I would Vote for UH but all three of us can't play due to not being Ams. 3 players avg rating is 1000+

Best of luck. Hopefully U Toledo goes next year. This year we initially planned it then we saw that we had to travel all the way down just to try to qualify. What happened to doing qualifiers in individual regions as was the plan? As I recall we were something like region 7 or something with Michigan and Indiana.

Georgia finished 1st in the team event and Nick from Georgia
won the singles title. Kentucky finished 2nd and Virgina Tech
and Clemson tied for third. VT won the playoff for the third place trophy. UK was tied for third going into the last round and shot great in alternate shot doubles this morning to jump into 2nd. UGA held a solid lead the whole last round. Any more questions just send me a reply on this post.

How was the Guts?

Guts went great. All the teams seemed to have a fun time playing. I believe UK won the Guts tourney over Nebraska.
We also had 3 pros there to demo. One of them was the fastest GUTS thrower in the world..

Every one who is involved in this should begin to assemble teams. Some students who want to play will graduate this semester. They will have to decide on their status for next semester to be eligible.

What Colleges offer a disc golf team, along with a womens soccer team. Who has that info so I can get in the loop?

Bigrock, Glade you asked that one. I have been harassing A University near you that has a great course on campus. Not sure if that one will pan out. But on the brighter side I have some guys form UNC-G that are pumped up about putting a collegiate team together. We need to get the word out as much as we can. And get as many University/Collages involved as we can. I would bet that every Disc Golf Course has A student or two playing at it. Encourage them to form clubs. That goes for grade school as well. Donate some time and disc. This is a great way to build our sport.

The way NC State students flock to Kentwood. I was surprised that they don't have 3 or 4 teams. Crowded every day there it seems.

You might check out the Univeristy of Western IL. I know they do pay entry fees and perdeums to their disc golfers.

BigRock, NC State is on the list as a interested school in the 2009 Collegiate Disc Golf Championship. As well as, man this is hard to Say. Their color is blue, darker than Carloina Blue. I think they are you favorite team. Dont make me say it.

That would be great. We have some great educated soon to be players in this state. Beside Basketball, we also have some great plastic throwing players. We startem out young here in Carolina. I know of at least 10 am world champion titles under 18 yrs of age, just in the last 4 years.1 in college, 1 can spell college, and 3 that want to go to college.

Yep, we could field a team, We may have to argue over team color...LOL

Dawn is intrested in a college, where she gets to do all her favorite past time. Play Disc Golf, and Soccer, btw homework assignments.
