Anyone know anything about who runs dgflicks.com? I ordered a copy of the 06 Skylands Classic DVD from them about a month ago, they took my money, and I have yet to to see said DVD. They do not resond to e-mails at the contact email provided either. Any info would be appreciated.

Good luck. She has been MIA for more than 6 months while those involved with the Beaver State Fling have tried to track her down to get video and equipment she has been holding for the project.

Which is really too bad, because initially she seemed to be an excellent source for future features. Maybe she'll come around eventually.

The situation with regard to Jen Padham and DG Flicks is very troublesome to me.
Jen is a member of the Skylands Flying Disc Club in Warwick, NY. She came onto the local scene a few years ago and her passion for the game as a player, combined with her interest and skill with video made her a very valuable member of our club. She produced the 2006 Skylands Classic DVD, widely recognized as one of the better disc golf dvd's produced to date. On her first attempt at such a venture she did an awesome job.
Theo Pozzy contacted me in early 2007 and asked me for a reference on Jen, as he was considering hiring her to produce the 2007 Beaver State Fling dvd. I told Theo that based on what I knew about her I felt she'd do a great job for his event.
Jen filmed the event and was going to produce the dvd.
From that point on we have a mystery on our hands.
Although Jen supposedly still resides in warwick, no one has seen her in months. It is a very bizarre situation, and with the disappearing act comes many local rumors. Even those folks closest to her in our local club either don't know what's going on, or aren't commenting.
From what we can gather, Jen is experiencing some very difficult emotional times. We are all concerned about her.
I am disturbed that she made an agreement with Theo and she didn't hold up her end of the deal. I am embarassed that I recommended her to Theo and she didn't fill her end of the deal. But I am most of all genuinely concerned about her well-being.
I have tried to reach out to her to see if there is anything I can do to help, but she is seriously MIA.
If we have any updates we'll pass them along.

Someone must have cashed the check or processed a credit card?

If its like many online stores, the money could be sitting in a paypal account, the transaction having been done via that particular site.

It might be possible to rescind the payment through the credit card company/payment service etc. That would be guess at a best approach, seeing how Jen is MIA.
Jen seemed to have it together when I was in touch with her, and I hope everything works out ok for her whatever is going on. She did some nice work on the Skylands DVD and I was looking forward to another nice DVD from the Beaver State material.
