There is a PDGA C-Tier being put on by the Parks and Recreation department in Conroe, TX. Help get the word out. It would be nice to have a great turnout for this event so the Parks and Rec. people stay onboard and continue to hold events like this. It's great to get someone outside the disc golf community involved in a tournament. My wife Tracy and I will be there, hope to see you other Houston area golfers there too. Signups on-line at http://www.cityofconroe.org/parks (although their site was down at time of this posting, but was not yesterday.) Or just call (936) 522-3900 to signup via phone.

Less than 24hrs to call or register on-line for this event. If you live in the north half of houston, let's get out and help the Parks and Rec department put on a fine event and perhaps convince other departments to do the same...

I would play but the fact nobody is signed up and the Card over phone thing bugs me.

Hmmm, you will type your cc # online but won't call it in?
I can understand not publishing the players list (JH prefers not to post a players list...wants players to decide to join or not on their own) but if you call & ask I think they should oblige but they probably have some "policy" preventing divulging names of program participants.
I'm still not sure if I can play...will decide in the next hour or so...

I think Matt won and Dixon took second in open. Maybe -9 and -8. Prob not too many locals since world dubs was the same weekend, and it was the weekend after states.

I won Open and yeah we were -8 and -9 after the 1st round but he had a rough 2nd. Emily won FPO and one of Dixon's buddies won 1st in Int at -6 for the day. The scores weren't too good but it was pretty windy.
