KB is like the roto-rooter man for ace pots at Knob Hill.....he can drain them like a professional!
I was on his card when he hit #15 last night. It was clean & pure the whole way in.......$658.00 is what he won......and from what I hear, he was nice enough to kick $50 back into the pot so we don't start with a goose-egg next week! :D

I'd like to be there, but I've already made plans to be at Moraine this afternoon around 5:00 pm. Jim Wilson and I will be flagging areas for debris clean-up as well as marking proposed locations for additional pin placements on select holes.
J Gary and I have a Thursday afternoon meeting with the new park manager regarding course improvements planned for this year. We will soon be announcing a workday at Moraine in preparation of the Lakeview Course Championship (4/11) and the Ironwood Open (4/18 - 4/19).

decent turnout with 15 players showing up.
Me and Chris Barron tied Tim Wright and Dave?? for 1st shooting 50's.
Matty McMillan was confident that he was going to win and shot an impressive 60 with his partner. Sorry Matt, I couldn't resist.

I thought someone had mercy on the golfers by leaving it in a-pin and helping speed-of-play on the hole (not to mention, preventing the climb back up the hill from c-pin to the white tee). :)

Thank you to those of us who have been prepping Knob Hill (and Moraine) for the PFDO.We will be out early again tomorrow about 4 PM before doubles. Everyone is welcome to come lend a hand in cleaning up Knob Hill for the PFDO. Some work has been done , but there is alot more to be done. Bring loppers, gloves, pole saw, a weed wacker if availible. Even if all you have is a will to help out, thats what we need! There is some debree that has already been cut needing cleared out. The Blue Tee's work will begin soon.

Spent about 4 hours clearing out hole 2 at Knob yesterday. Trimmed tons of trees by the long tee, and around the green. Also picked up tons of huge logs and sticks that were between the B and C pin. Bunch of weedwacking got done as well. Thanks to KB and Jen for helping me out.
Also trimmed up Hole 1 near the short tree. There were a bunch of limbs hanging out into the fairway.
Will be back out there today to finish hole 2 and Start work on Hole 3 long tee, and try to remove some jaggers on hole 4.
So for the record, I got holes 1 - 3 covered. No need to waste your time on them.

KB and I did some serious tree cutting/trimming on the green of Hole 14 at Knob Hill yesterday. Most people will probably never notice but we took down about 50 small trees and cleared up a 30 foot+ circle around the green. Now when you overshoot the basket, your disc won't stop by the basket in some tree. Now you might evenm find yourself OB in the water. Enjoy
Headed to Knob now for tee pad construction.
