Being that Bite Shoes sponsors Climo, one would think it would be easy to find on their website a "disc golf" shoe.

Did I do that search right?

Bite shoes were bought out by Crocs, and as far as I understand they discontinued the disc golf shoe line. *sad*

My husband (Mitch Sonderfan #17998) works for Crocs. Just asked him and he said they're still developing the shoes, and apparently have made them look much better. He's not sure why they're not on the website, but if you are interested, perhaps emailing Bite will do something?

From what I've heard this is not so sad news. The "distance" model that was supposedly developed specifically for disc golf (I never saw any real evidence of this shoe being any different for DG than any other) has been discontinued b/c its ugly (imo) and did not sell that well (limited market). The good news is they make a lot of better looking and more functional shoes that were made for golf. These are better shoes for DG than the Distance and Kenny is wearing these now instead of the Distance (which he ONLY wore in tournaments). So Bite is still supporting DG and selling better shoes.

I emailed Bite and asked about not being able to find the dg shoes on the website, I also asked if they were still going to be made. Here was the response I received:
"Dear Stan,
Thank you for your inquiry. We have not discontinued our disc golf shoes they just won't be on our website until May. You may be able to find them in retail stores in your area and if you go onto our website at www.biteshoes.com (http://www.biteshoes.com) and then click on contact us there is a store locator us can use to find retail locations in your area. If there is anything else I can assist you with please feel free to contact me at ******@crocs.com.
Thank you,
