The McClellan Classic was a success. Mitch Mac had cash and merchandise giveaways before every round. Added cash, added merch, ring of fire, out of state bounty and all kinds of extras made this event better than ever. 64 players started the event and with temperatures the high 90's and the sun scorching, not all of them chose to finish. Bill Yardsale Sheely was not the only lucky ace, Jack Wilson hit the "Lifetime Entry to the Mac Classic" hole, two rounds to late. He did get half the ace pot and a free entry to next years event. Steve Dig King won the Poker Run for $165 I think. Thank you to everyone who showed up and played. Thanks you Jerry Power for the technical work...again. Hope to see you again at this event next year.

It seems like it has been 10 years since I have wanted to make it to the McClellan Classic and I have to say it did not dissappoint. From the brilliant and twisted mind of Mitch Mac comes a course not to forget! Thanks for everyone that put this one on and thanks Andy for giving me a place to stay (I guess Sooner fans are okay /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif). I challenge anyone to find a C tier tourney that pays out like this one in the pro division. Thanks for a great weekend.

The players packs arrived today!!! The $10,000.00 challenge is gearing up to be the first big $$$ hole in one to get popped! I can feel it. Mike Click almost got one to stick last time, SnakeSkin off the bucket in Duncan and Jack Wilson hitting the EDGE free discs for 5 years at Mitch Mac during the wrong round are all indicators of the odds... and the odds are stacking in OUR the throwers favor as the tour continues.

We are bringing back the free discs for 5 years from EDGE and Twisted Flyer for this event. We will also have the KelDog EDGE raffle in the house so come out and support that. Jay Slack Taco Bar on Saturday and Sunday... All of the newest TF gear, USDGC gear and Roc's will be out for all to enjoy.

Sunday at the Roc vs Buzzz you must use the discs provided and only 1 putter (from your bag). We will all play a round with a buzzzz and then a roc... we are going to do some research to see how the scores fall out with each disc. My next one day is planned using 2 other manufacturers discs... but that's another thread!

65 people enjoyed the Roc vs Buzzz 1 Disc Challenge. First round was played with the Star Ontario Roc, the second round was played with an ESP Buzzz. Wind was up in the 2nd round as was the temp.

Bet that suprises some people. It was nice to see people throwing discs they never have tried as well as sharing the behind the scenes facts of the major manufacturers.

the taylors are very gracious hosts and twisted joe is second to none
this ace run for 20000 is very nice. ihit the basket with a flip roadrunner while mowing last week.301 ft clear on both sides and up the middle as it is set upon a ballgolf driving range.

The 5th Annual Twisted Flyer Open was a complete success. 67 brave people joined the celebration and played after torrential down pours delayed the first round. There was a point in the morning while taking sign ups when we could not hear ourselves talk in the Lodge because the rain was pounding the roof so hard. After an small delay the rain let up and the storm passed and the players hit the course. The courses at The Lodge at Taylor Ranch in Pawhuska have never looked better. The fairways are green and the hard work done to the course was obvious. A huge THANKS to all the hard working volunteers who helped out and got the course looking so good!

We gave over $1000 of merchandise away in the player raffle and with the help of Auctioneers Jim "Hard Cider" Taylor and Caleb "That's my Dad, give him a hand" Ash and many donations, $400 was raised for players food at the Oklahoma Open. Karma in action!! Jeff Ash came out and gave a huge fireworks display in honor of the TFO 5th Birthday. It was really cool to see all of our friends under the stars on a great night enjoying so many things. 2/3 of Sally Majestic jammed at the Lodge on Saturday night as well as Twisted Big Dog minus the Dog and plus Max = Twisted Big to the Max.

The $20,000 Hole In One was hit.....20 minutes too early in practice by Jared Pennington from Oklahoma City. Dave Wise and some others had a good run at it but in the end no one went home with the $20,000. The Free Discs for Five Years from EDGE Hole In One did not get hit either. The $204 ace pot was thrown off with the top three getting a portion. Josh Crowl and Teresa Duff came in 1st and 2nd.....

Devan Owens made Sunday count and shot a lights out 73. There were no others scores in the 70's that round. Twisted Team Member Coda Hatfield comes in a respective 2nd in Open. Chris Hutchinson wins in Pro Master and Scott Wilkinson tears it up in Pro Grand Master. There were 4 women who competed at the TFO and of course as always they were all paid out with added merch. Shana Swanson won the Advanced Women's division and Audrey Lopez competed in Rec women. Thanks ladies for coming out. All the women received a very nice and shiny silver dog tag that has Twisted Flyer Open and the Lodge on them. The Taylors also gave away two beautiful baskets for the ladies again for the TFO.

Thank you Jim and Deb!!! Jim for all the hard work on the property and to Deb for all the harder work in the kitchen. The food, hospitality and friends rocked all weekend. We appreciate that.
