For players familiar with the course, the drainage tube which crosses the fairway on hole 4 is no longer considered out-of-bounds; players are now allowed casual relief if their discs land inside the tube. Last year's decision to remove the OB hazard basically boiled down to fairness. Although the drainage tube is not very wide, it is not visible from the tee and it crosses the fairway just inside the keyhole.
OB drainage tubes still exist on holes 2, 10 and 11.

Pat, Moraine is 35 minutes north of Knob Hill. If you were coming the turnpike from Seneca, would most likely take 4 1/2 hours to get here.

It was an awesome weekend. Pat and Jim were tied and had a 3 hole playoff starting on hole 1. Pat through his drive short and left while Jim was a few feet closer in the middle of the fairway after catching a few branches on the right side of the fairway on his drive. Pat hit the basket low with his putt and Jim hit the rim and missed as well.
Both players threw their drives in the woods to the left on hole 2 and both scrambled to save a par 4.
We then moved to hole 13, where Jim Myers laced his shot dead straight down the wooded fairway leaving himself with a 30 foot putt. Pat hit an early tree off his drive, and then another one on his 2nd shot. I believe he took a 5 on the hole. Jim layed up his 30 foot putt and placed it in the basket for his par and his $660 winnings.
It was an awesome event. Great people, great course, great weather and great times. Hope you all enjoyed Moraine.

In Sandalbagger's defense, that post was made before you high-rated players were registered.... :D
I do have to share the following story which occurred after the tounament was over. All the players had left the park and five PFDS club members stayed behind to break down the tent and pick up a bit of litter. Once everything was cleaned up and packed away, someone asked who's disc golf bag was sitting on the ground next to where the tent had been standing. Dave Olcott looked at it, saw one of the bag-tags and commented "Well, I see a #32 bag-tag so it probably belongs to someone who's not very good."
