good chance I will be there. gives me a good excuse to see my grandparents (they are in St. Augustine).

I could get to the course each day, but you guys think I could get a ride to the airport afterwards?

Robert, I am sure we can get you a ride to the airport after the round on Sunday.
What time is your flight out?

Mar 19 2008, 10:07 AM
haven't even bought plane tickets yet. Still not a 100% if coming, but after pitching the idea to the folks, they thought it was a great idea and they would probably come too.

I see that we are teeing at 11 on Sunday, how long do the rounds traditionally take?

Mar 19 2008, 10:44 AM
Robert, I got your back on the rides! I live 10 minutes from the course and about 30 to your parents. I have a place for you to crash if need be. as for the 11 oclock tee off, there is normally a players party, the rounds will take around 3-4 hrs if it sellsout at 120 over 24 holes. {just a guess}

Scott, I talked to my neighbor last night and we may have a guest appearence from FRED TAYLOR and Josh Scobie. These 2 guys are as nice as they come for NFL stars. Either way they have agreed to sign a football and we will come up with an interesting way to give it to someone.

Also working on Chik Filla as a sponsor!!

You all do not want to miss this event! Don't let the C tier status fool you as this event will have a great payout! Hope to see alot of my old homies here in Jacksonville! Let me know if anyone needs a place to crash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

This post brought to you by the latest sponsor!

Thanks to the Jacksonville Fellowship for there generous sponsorship of 500.00 dollars!!! Way to go guys. For those that are curious the fellowship is a group of five golfers that live here in Jacksonville that put in countless hours to promote DG!

Now who is next????? Keep in mind this event is also to help raise money for a great cause! No sponsorship is to small and yes merchandise is also needed.

Once again thanks to the fellowship!

thanks bob!

I got the rides and place to stay covered, just needed that final ride from the course to the airport.

So round tees at 11, ends at worst case 3. Awards till 4. So 6:00 earliest for the flight out? That sound about right?

Mar 19 2008, 11:10 AM
Sounds about right to me and the airport is around 15 minutes from the course. Let me know if there is anything I can helpout with. Hope to see you here in Sunny Fla!

Mar 19 2008, 11:12 AM
This post brought to you by the guys at INNOVA!!

Thanks to Harold and his staff for hooking the RCDGA up with some great CFR's and prizes for the event. As always you guys are number one in DG!

Which for 120 players is no small task. "Intimate Dinning for Two" is owned and operated by Tina Hicks another local that gives of herself selflessly time and time again!

If any locals in Jax ever need a great catered dinning experience please Call Tina @ (904) 334-4249.
