schmidty you coming down?
On Ozark, I am making hole 3 a par 4 by moving back the tee about 100' and also moving 12's green into the woods another 40 feet making it a par 5 which will bring the par up to 72.
I may make a few change son Akitas but it will still be a par55 or maybe 56.
with the later starting time on saturday and 2 rounds on Sunday we might me able to have the KILLER GLOW event on Friday night!

It looks like Jeremy and crew will be coming to the Ozark Mountain open and bringing some Discraft and Innova to help with prize out and have for sale.
I think he is trying to put together a full color stamp on some Buzzz's or Surge's.
If anyone else is interested in coming to this event and selling merch please contact me at david@gdstour.com to make arrangements!

I'm really looking forward to this tournament. There will be an abundant amount of plastic available from Innova at this tournament. Innova is stamping Ozark Mountain CFR discs for this event to help raise funds for the tournament and increase the payout. This will include Champion Destroyers, Champion Teerex-X, and Champion Glow Wraith. There will also be plenty of other Innova stamped discs and everything else available on the market.
Dynamic Discs will be teaming up with Gateway to offer a variety of plastic and merchandise for the amateur payout. Everyone will have plenty to choose from and you can count on this being an awesome tournament from start to finish!
The PDGA online registration should be available soon so get signed up as soon as this is available or get a hold of David to ensure your spot at this tournament.

For those of you who have never played these 2 courses don't miss this opportunity to play what was once the #1 hardest ranked course in the world ( Ozark Mountain par 72) and the scenic par 3 course Akita's Run!
We have made the hardest par 3 (hole #3 into a par 4 by moving the tee back about 100 feet.
we have also made the hardest par 4 ( number 12) into a par 5 by moving the pin another 60 feet into the woods increasing the overall par to 72.
On Akita's run I am getting a little soft in my old age taking down a few more trees and moving a few baskets up and into view from the tee. Akita's Run will play to a par 54 with all par 3's but the water in the creek will be more of a factor this year than ever.
Both courses are looking so sweet and will be playing tough as usual.
there will be a glow event on friday night and a late start of the event at noon on Saturday should allow players to come in the morning of the event!
Gateway
Gateway is making an attempt to buy the 240 acres from other family members in order to be able to have disc golf here full time.
We will be raising capitol for growth for our company through selling stock and offering lots on the property for camping or building cabins.
Plans are being made for 2 more disc golf courses and plenty of other outdoor recreation, including mountain biking trails, plenty of hiking, fishing and (limited hunting during selected seasons). There is about 1/2 mile of river frontage and gigantic bluffs over looking the river and endless amounts of nature.
Anyone interested in an investment in Gateway disc sports and this recreational property should come experience this property and event first hand.

Emmanuel Farris's Last round in Rec is listed as a 64. That was just his back nine score, I can't remember what he shot on the front nine.

Dave, thanks for the great time this weekend! The work that went into getting those baskets up the mountain and secured is beyond my experience in moving baskets. It had to be exhausting and slow going.
Those courses had inspired fairways and pin locations. I hope you can make this a permanent venue.
I had been waiting 3 years for the Qzark courses to come back because the experience that people had talked about was one that I wanted to have. I was so bumbed when they closed before I could play them.
Now I not only have played there but I won my division, WooHoo!
The weather was perfect. Warm enough for shorts but too cool and too early for bugs. My only regret was not playing the Glow round on Saturday night.
When can we play again?

how much will the DVD be?
The retail cost will probably be around $12-15, depending on how much more week we put into it.
These things can get really time consuming as we are adding several instructional segments on the DVD!
David, check your e-mail once in a while. Where's the thread promoting the Oct 25th and 26th date so I can quit bugging you with e-mails?
I got at least 12 people and counting from Iowa that are planning on coming---most to get their cherries popped on the mountain.
