I think I have my wife talked into playing this event this year. Been working on it for the last 2. She is wanting me to caddy for her though, my question is(and I am sure there is), but is there any caddy rules I should know or somewhere I can read them? I imagine it's just following the normal rules, but just want to make sure....

vinnie

caddies have not rules....but if you escourt the whole card there is rules. They will be avalible the day of escourting

A. Players are required to walk during their tournament
rounds at all PDGA events unless alternate transportation
such as golf carts are provided to all competitors
B. Players will have the option to bring a caddie or carrying
device during their round of play. A players caddie is
subject to all items with in the PDGA Rules of Play and the
PDGA Competition Manual including all applicable dress
codes.
C. Players choosing to use a caddie will be solely responsible
for their caddies conduct. Misconduct by a caddie may
subject the player and caddy to disqualification and/or
suspension.
D. Players must instruct their caddies to maintain a
reasonable distance and not interfere with a competitor
attempting his or her shot.
E. For those players wishing to use a carrying device,
approved carrying devices include disc golf bags, foldable
chairs and push cart companions. No animals, motor
driven or bicycle type devices shall be allowed at all PDGA
events.

I've always been told that players are responsible for their caddies. Any rules infractions by the caddie (i.e. drinking, courtesy violations, ect) during the round result in warnings/penalties applied to that caddies player.

I was under the impression it was a direct result of the
" Good ol' boy network " , something in regards to catering to the need's of the age protected divisions ....

It is a shame that the state with the most dense population of disc golf courses, does not even have a NT on schedule.

Meeting went very well last night. Where we are short at right now is escorts and girly stations. We need committments as soon as possible from the escorts that will not be someone's caddy. We had a few bumps in the road last year when we had 2 escorts that were caddy's wind up on the same card. So please PM me or Vinnie if you are available for this, we need some guys to step up and help us with this.
We need 3 more clubs committed to running girly stations. If we get this committment then each club will only have to run 1 round on 1 course and won't have to break-down at lunch and move to another course. Let us know, 24 days and counting.
Keep the sposorship rolling in, and thanks to all for contributing to a hopefully historic event for attendence for women.

SuperGirl (Nicole) was really hoping to play in the TWC this year. However she is still recovering from a partial tear in one of her quadriceps muscles (where it connects to the hip). She is almost completely healed (she has been out of soccer and disc golf for 5 weeks), but has not been cleared by the doctor to play this weekend.

Although she is very disappointed to be missing this year's TWC, she wants to send everyone her best wishes for this weekend. She knows everyone will have a great time!

The Intermediate ratings for round 2 have been corrected.

The next post is the Juniors scores and then the raffle drawing results for those that have been asking for them.

Yes. Thanks to all who helped, played, or did anything to make this possible.
on a side note, if anyone found a ctp bag at Cat Hollow with a twisted flyer Predator, my wife might let me live longer if it's returned.

I have a three leg golf stool that was left in the back of my truck Sunday. It has a Huk Lab sticker on the bottom of each leg.

Lou has reposted the raffle #'s & a few of these items went unclaimed. Please PM or e mail me if you still have your tickets & won something. [email protected]

Also, one payout item per division was overlooked. All division winners - including Pro's & Juniors - your information has been sent to Twin Parks Country Club - each of you also won a membership at the coutry club - this is NON TRANSFERABLE. (for you, not to sell or trade) :)

Thanx again to everyone for making this years TWC a huge success - can't imagine how badass the 5th annual will be. :)

The books are closed for TWC 2008
PDGA fees paid and results sent
We are meeting this week to start the planning for the largest women's field ever TWC 2009.
Thank you to everyone that helped, the players, and to staff I consider family.
By far the best TD experience I have ever enjoyed.
Running the TWC is like running no other event....I got burnt out running these men events......(bunch of whinners :D)The feeling I get before, durning, and after the TWC is why I started running events like 100years ago. Every year of TWC bring that felling back. I may have given up running events, but as long as you ladies will have me I will be involved in the TWC.
