Thanks to everyone who made it out. We had 42 players who braved the rainy morning that turned into a windy afternoon.

Results are now posted, along with preliminary ratings: http://www.pdga.org/tournament/tournamen...eRatings=1#Open (http://www.pdga.org/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=7804&year=2008&incl udeRatings=1#Open)

Highlights:
- We had 11 advanced, 8 intermediate, 16 Pro players and 7 women come out for a little C-tier in Jersey in March!!
- Miguel Garces came from behind to win Intermediate shooting a second round score right now rated over 50 points above his current rating.
- Maureen McErlean won the Ladies Advanced division, shooting a smokin' 61 in the second round, unofficially rated at 931.
- Eric Eichhorst won the Advanced division for the second year in a row (BAGGER!!!) shooting 53 and 55, rated unofficially at 998 and 987, the same as Joe Mela (?).
- Steve Brinster came down from North Jersey and took the Open title, shooting 7 under par for the day and, as I heard him estimate at the end of the day, he did shoot his rating, carding 2 rounds in the 1020s. Steve took home a $200 Pot o' Gold (literally) for his efforts.
- The CTB was won by Carey Holleran, winning a mixed Irish case of Guiness, Harp, and Smithwicks. Enjoy, buddy.
- Our March O' St. Pat's Spirit Award winner was Elaine Aber, who showed up early in the rain and sat down immediately to help with registration, smiling throughout.

So congrats to all the winners and thanks again to everyone for coming out.

Special thanks to Erick Simonds for getting the ball rolling on this being run this year and being my co-TD. I was listed as the official TD, but it was really a joint effort and I'd say Erick almost certainly did more work than I did throughout everything. Also thanks to Big Dog, JB, SumoMac, Elaine, Curtis, Mike, Joey, Harry Baker, and a few more for the help with registration, setting up tents, running the CTB, etc., B.O.B. and Kit for driving through the night to come play and help out, Harry Brown for taking care of the course map/hole descriptions, to Don and Tim for helping get the tee signs out, and anyone I missed you know you did a good job and thanks. Thanks also to the PDGA for sanctioning us super last minute and being understanding about that.

It was a great time, and maybe we'll try and order some better weather next year...
