I was just looking at the monthly event page and had an idea. I don't know how hard this would be, but....
Would it be possible (or simple for that matter) to integrate the locations of the weekend events with google maps? So, there would be the monthly schedule, and then sub-categories for each weekend (like there is now), and then right under the April 23 - 29, 2008 there would be a map link that would "push pin" all the locations on a US map for that weekend. I think this would help people get an idea for how far an event is from your current location.
Like I said, I don't know how many people would be interested in this, but I am. And I don't know how hard it would be to do. Anyone with more Google Maps savvy care to chime in?

It's a good idea. Hang onto it until they get a chance to complete the upgrades on the website in the next month or so. There are many good ideas for things they've wanted to do once the website software was upgraded.
