I am new to the TD'ing thing and have my event sanctioned. The sanctioning agreement mentions a TD package. What is it? Can I access it online or will it be snail-mailed? I'm so confused

It's stuff like PDGA membership forms, a list of approved discs, ratings and division guidelines, magazines and a few other papers. Mine was snail mailed, but I dont know if it can sent through email.

How long did the snail-mail process take? The sanctioning agreement was completed and returned last December, yet I still haven't received anything.

you get the package about a 4-5 weeks prior to the event...most of the time... :o

Um...my event is in 1 month and I have not recieved confirmation on a few things:

1.) Whether or not I am TD Certified. I assume yes since I've been allowed to upload the registration list and I have 15 people alreay signed up. You would think that they would pull my event if I didn't pass the test...

2.) I have not been sent an e-mail that allows me to set up the free PDGA pre-registration option. My event pre-reg closes in three weeks! So far my local players have been great about mailing me their entries, but a lot of them are holding out for the online option...

3.) I too have not recieved any TD package in the mail...

I've already sent a few friendly e-mails to the PDGA, this is my first sanctioned event and I'm starting to get anxious.

You can download most of the TD pack...it a list of current PDGA members, approved discs, tech standards, division breakdowns, payout scales, membership forms, soft cards (for players re-upping or joining)...you get the picture. They usually shove a few extra stickers, brochures, Rules books, Competition manuals in there too. I've gotten a DVD in pack I used for a CTP as well. Usually arrives a few weeks (3-4) before the event.
