I acquired this information through the Stinging Jellies yahoo group and saw it fitting to post considering the effects on the local disc community:
Last weekend between Sunday night and Monday morning baskets #12 and #18 were stolen from the CSUMB Oaks course near Monterey, Ca.
If any suspicious baskets are posted on ebay or if any word is received about this pathetic display of humanity please shoot an email to [email protected] The police officer dealing with the theft is Manuel Duran - he can be reached at 1(831) 582-3226.
Tournament Director Merle Witvoet of this weekend's 10th Otter Open is offering a reward of $300.00 for any info bringing the baskets back. I believe he can be reached through the email address given above.
