I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get any of the Hall of Fame disc that are handed out at Wolrds? It's usually at Worlds only, but if anyone was able to get a few extra, or would even be willing to sell one, let me know.

Thanks,

Doc Stancil, I know a lot about, most of my earlier knowledge of disc sports came from his book.
I know the name Mark Horn, but not much more.
Guru, I know only from his work in the PDGA office.

Is there any info available on the inductee's qualifications to be in the Hall of Fame?

Mark Horn won the Disc Golf portion of the 1977 or 1978 World Frisbee Championships. These Championships showcased multiple disc sports, and were held from 1974 to 1981 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and in 1982 in Rutgers, NJ.

Mark has been active (to say the least) in the SoCal disc golf scene for over 25 years, and has been the TD for the Wintertime Open for many years. Biff Barfield and I flew out to CA from TX in 1989 to play in it and had a blast! The only tricky part was that, on Saturday, there were 3 flights of one round each, then there was a cut, and whoever made the cut started from scratch on Sunday! We figured, hey, if we miss the cut, we can always hit the other courses in the area. As it was, we both made the cut, and we still had time on Saturday afternoon to play La Mirada. One word of advice: If you plan on staying at a "hotel" on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, you might want to talk to a local before making a reservation...

Congratulations Mark, Stancil and Brian!

What year was the first PDGA Hall of Fame produced?

Does anyone have the entire collection?

I'm sure several people have the complete disc collection and multiple signed disc copies for sale for the right price. Contact Speedy from the website and he might be bale to help you find discs if that's what you are looking for.

Good luck, I just completed a set. The '93 and '95 were the toughest to find. I got lucky and a board member came up with the '95. There has been one on eBay off and on by FrizWhiz.

Hi all
I recently found a box of hof discs i had forgotten about. It contains one 1994, 1995 and 3 1996 hof discs. I would be willing to sell them if I had the right offer. All are still new and in the original wrapper. They don't show any signs of wear almost if not near mint condition I would say. Anyone interested please contact me email bobntrumann@yahoo.com.
Thanks

Does anyone have the entire collection?

I completed a set last year. Speedy was able to help with several of them. The first year and KC's year are the most expensive, $100 to $200. The rest range b.t $25 and $50. A worthy set to collect.
