nope not sanctioned even though most of us are pdga members. We just wanted to keep the prices lower with gas as high as it is. Why don't you come take my money Matt, its a short drive from livingston. but then again you are probably playing gonzo.

Exactly! You need to just sit back and register at the last minute so you can sucker people into it. :D

you sooo funny!!!!! I would have if DG would not have made me sign up early. I am just laughing at the other locals unwilling to step up to open on their home course and a sn event. If they would step up it would really make it worth other open players to come play for the cash. Bunch a girlie men. Win or loose, Im gonna have a blast playing with absolutely no expectations. I'll probably play better thab I do if I were in adv or int. Seeing as Ive got nothin to loose.....Bring it on!!!! :)

The redesign is in and it aint the old layout. probably as close as they could get it but instead of tweaking holes to our modern plastic they were tweaked to keep the same distance as the hole was before but different, in a slightly different location. Hopefully they will reconsider some of the holes before event time but knowing how the GTDG board of directors work around here, I doubt it. I had high hopes. It still should be a fun event and will play hard in the wind, but if its slight winds, 9 or 10 down will be advanced leaders. Duece or die!!!!

oops .... seems ive angered the locals.......lets all join hands and sing kumbahya.
Being critical will not be tolerated by the great ones. Great rec course boys....now move up to open if this layout will remain!!!!

if the winds are mild then you got it right. If the winds are kickin, and you know what I mean when I say kickin, then id say maybe -6. I played Sunday and watched discs get "blown out" by the wind. about a 30mph constant with 45-50 mph gusts. The tourny was moved back this year in hopes of better weather so as long as there is no rain, Let the wind blow!

just heard hole 3 will be the long pin so that will take out one of the more difficult birdie holes and make it a par hole for most all. The shorter pin placement would give us more of a scoring spread. maybe they will play it short 1st round and long second.

Hole 3 will stay short so people on 16 can tee off safely.
We have added free t-shirts to the players pack for the first 50 sign ups!
Also there are a bunch of new sponsors who have added cool raffle items.
