Per Tom Lowry:
Here is the list of Qualifying events for the Twin Oaks Mid-South Championship:
2007 Twin Oaks Open, Duncan, OK Oct 6 & 7, 2007
Crowley Ice Bowl, Crowley, TX Jan 12, 2008
Flightline Open - Pauls Valley, OK April 12 & 13, 2008
Play It Again Sports Open - Crowley, TX June 28 & 29, 2008
Dynamic Discs - JDGF @ Boomer, Stillwater OK Date TBA
Dynamic Discs - JDGF @ Dolese, OK City, OK Date TBA
2008 Southern National Am Championship
2008 Southern National Pro Championship
My first question is: "I'm kind of confused how the 2007 Twin Oaks Open can be considered as a qualifier when we didn't even know until way after that event that this 2008 event was going to require qualifying. That might have changed my decision to play a local event that weekend instead of driving up to Twin Oaks."
It was pointed out: its because of the trouble last year at the event that caused it to become invite only
So, I'm asking not only my above question, but also: "So then it sounds like the trouble makers get the advantage of already having a qualifying event under their belts. How does that make sense? "
