Curious about what the value is on an Elite-Z Comet? Is there any difference between the original "Blue Sparkle" Ron Russell's and the red and yellow ones ran a year or two after that?

The Ron Comets seem to fetch around $20-$30 depending on how heavy they are. I have not seen many/any of the other types on Ebay in recent memory. The Green DGLO Z Comets from 02 fetch the most. If you are looking to get rid of any 177 grams or over shoot me a PM.

I recently sound 4 Z-comets, two red, two yellow in recent memory. I could probably list a few more on ebay or maybe directly sell a few. I would have to check the weight of my remaining stock.

I've been looking for some of those red, Z-Comets lately; they're a bit tough to find so far. I did find two yellow ones, but I'd love to get a hold of a couple red ones in the 172-175g range. Post an eBay alert if you do put them up...

Id love to pick up a couple Ron Russel Sparkle Zs if they are 176 or higher!!! Just put the Comet in the bag last season and im LOVING IT!!! So if anybody has a few shoot me a PM.......Ive got some trade bait and maybe a little cash!!!

I will take a look at the inventory tonight and see what I have to sell. At this time I don't have any Ron Russels that I am parting with (sorry).

I think the value of the Z's (Except the RR's) have evened out a bit because the few of us that depend on comets have replenished our supply with the recent ESP release. I only have 4 Z's left and have replaced them in my bag with an ESP. Of course I bought 10 of those :).

I can still get Z comets here and there for $12-$16. The last RR comet i bought was $25 and haven't seen any below $40 in a years or so. The RR were much more stable than the recent run of Z's and ESP's.

The Z Comets I have are as stable as the RR's that I've thrown. The ESP I have, on the other hand, flips up much quicker. More like the old power D Comets.

What's the first run Z-comet(green) with the Circle-D DGLO stamp worth? Feldberg gave me his for rent the week he and Avery stayed at mi casa for 12 days during The BIG Show. I tried not to accept it but i got "Johnny, what good is this disc to me?"

I'll give ya $2.50 for it. :D

My local shop just got in 5 yellows 174-177g. The are $11 each.

I have a box of the sparkle blue RR Z Comets directly from Ron himself (I guess technically they all are!). If anyone is interested, call the store (352.397.3257) for weight selections. We will be listing them for 39.99 each, but if you want to get a few I'm sure Ron will work with you a bit. I think some of them are autographed as well.

We will be launching a website for Ron in late winter/early spring 2008 which will include stock Discraft plastic plus tons of sweet stuff collected during Ron's 10 years of touring on the road. Stay tuned...
