After watching the sweeeeet production of last years Am worlds, I was left with these thoughts:
1) It's great to see the Am's getting mad props with their own DVD.
2) Were the courses so easy that 50 under even be allowed to be achieved at a "World Championship?"
3) Is DGTV the leader in covering our sport?

Yes, they were that easy....

SSA of 3 of the 4 courses was 46 or less....

Brown Deer was the one notable exception

Is that how we want to decide "Championships?" On courses that are considered too easy?

That horse was already beaten to death on another tread. But yes, I agree they were a little too easy. That being said, I had a great time and it really didn't matter to me. I had too much fun to worry about that.

Too easy for whom? It was an Am Worlds that had to cater to multiple divisions, not just big armed advanced players.

Perhaps if it was an 'Advanced' Worlds, we could have moved the pins back and played the pro tees.

i got mine today, about two hours of footage. very cool DVD and a good balance of juniors, women, masters and advanced. awesome job DGTV

Big Rock the Wiggins got thiers Saturday. I forgot to check the mail box on the way out. sherry checking today. When are you and Capcake coming up. changed the layout -2 is the record for 9 by little wigg. first round little wigg, little cog and i tied at even.

Vwery soon my brother, Cupcake and I will be out for break Thursday till next year.

Yes, if you look in the background on the playoff, that was awsome coverage by the way. You will see this Shrek looking figure. I think that was me. There is a shot of both members of coast 2 coast making putts.Watch the end and see superman, well he's 12, that is one of my favorite playing buddies. Yes, he does hit trees too sometime, and I got it on video.

Rizbee Jr. is shown making two putts. All of team Rizbee gets camera time at the players meeting, 'cept I'm looking down at my laptop. You get to see Gomez tee off once and then he is Paul's shadow in the playoff footage. I was hoping they'd have a shot of me making a turbo putt...

My girlfriend got hers on Saturday, but I have not received mine. Can't wait, disc golf TV rocks. Hey Timmy, too bad you filmed that kid having a melt down kicking his bag and throwing his mini when I put down that roller on Friday at Dretzka new, it was sweeeeet, lol!

I originally thought to make the DVD then have Am Worlds sell it afterward but I thought it was a much cooler perk to just get it as part of your player's pack! That was definitely the right choice.

DGTV operated on a fraction of the budget you'd find with the Pro Worlds DVD process. Originally we just talked about getting some generic footage and making it last about 45 minutes. They went above and beyond by categorizing the sections and including the men's finals. Those were all bonuses. That's not even mentioning the extra 45 minutes of footage.

Thank you to the entire DGTV staff and crew. I hope everyone enjoys re-living a part of their Milwaukee Am Worlds experience with this piece of disc golf history.

Side note: If you thought the courses were too easy then come on back this year because I'll be hosting a couple of events where we back up the tees and back up the pins. May 17/18 will be the first one.

Still haven't recieved mine. Probably because I moved a few months ago. I'll wait until after the holidays to try and get it sorted out (if it doesn't show up by then).
