I haven't seen any discussion of the Sabattus, Maine courses on this board. While on a DG roadtrip in late Oct, I found this complex and was extremely impressed thinking it might be my favorite DG site I have seen and this is saying a lot considering
I have played over 200 courses in the nation.

The 2 courses, The Eagle and The Hawk are on 100 acres of land that is beautifully landscaped. The amenities are great: pro shop, cement tees, great tee signs, flags on the top of the baskets indicating how much wind there is, port a johns on both hole 10's, elevation changes galore, creeks and ponds, long and short and long again holes cut through the woods with ample fairways. Both courses are pro caliber despite their intermediate and advanced descriptions on the scorecard. A third short course is being built with lights for night time play!

Like other Maine courses, it was pay to play but very worth it considering all the work that has gone into the property. What do others here think of this place?
