Did that little Red course eat you up? (Record on the longs this year is 51)

Feel like you shot the wrong score on 2 long on the Blue?

Start preparing for the Piney Woods Pro-Am V!!!

Individual and personnalized training occurs every Saturday at 10AM and every other Sunday at 2PM throughout the year. Want to know how the locals shoot it? I can show you!

Don't be standing on the Blue 10 tee next year thinking "Where the heck is the line on this one?" The local that ACEed that hole during doubles will share his secrets. Want to know how to bird Blue 11 short? Another local that has birded that hole 6 of the last 8 shots can show you his tricks!! Join us sometime this year for the Rose City Disc Club weekly mini's and learn our tricks!

Interested in helping to sponsor an event that has raised almost $24,000 for the Junvenile Diabetes Research Foundation over the last 4 years? Contact me through PM or at [email protected] and I can fill you in on the details.

See everyone next year! :D

But Jerry, I already know how to birdie Blue #11 short...you throw a blade down the right side of the woods. (Yes, I'm being serious.)

Already looking forward to next year's event. Once again, Jerry, thanks to you and the club for all the efforts.

Updates and club info!

The date for the Piney Woods Pro-Am has been moved to December 6-7. Get your date books out and clear that date for this tournament. We have several plans including the possibility of raising over $20,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. More on that as the event gets closer. If you have played this event, you know it is a blast and if you have not, ask anyone and they will tell you it is a must play tournament. Last year payouts exceeded 170% of entry fees for every division and every junior or woman player was a winner!

We are also developing plans for Lindsey park, including a third 18 hole course! It will not be ready for the tournament this year, but we should have it in for the PWO VI. To help raise money for this we are annoucing a bag tag challenge and mulligan run for June 13th at Lindsey park.

Rose City Disc Club Bag Tag Challenge

Entry: $15
Mulligan Run: $5 plus (Not Required if you do not want to partipate in the Mulligan run)

Round 1: 10:00 AM
Round 2: approximately 2:00 PM

The way the Mulligans will work is we will be selling Mulligans for $5 each. A single $5 mulligan purchase will get you into the Mulligan Challenge and 1/2 of all Mulligan money will be paid out to participating players. You may purchase one Mulligan, or as many as your bank account will allow.

The money raised by this event will be used to help us get course number 3 into Lindsey park and will help to support PWO V. If you can, come join us for a great time. Remember, mulligans are NOT required to play in the bag tag challenge, however scores will be used to determine bag tag awarded and that includes any benefits from a mulligan (or two or three). :D
