Hey everyone. I am writing a paper on Innova for my Strategic Management class. I am needing as much info as possible about the business. I will be online all day writing this thing (yeah I am a procrastinator) so if anyone knows any websites with info or if you just want to give me some knowledge outta your brain, that would be super.

Send me a PM or reply on here.

Thanks boys and girls,
Danny Reeves

Also, if anyone can give me any info about the general process involved in making the discs, that would be good too. I know a little about it but I would like to be thorough. This includes how they make the molds, the blending of raw plastics , cooling procedures, dying, stamping, etc.....

Any input would be a huge help, thanks.

Most of what you'll find is going to be pretty superficial. Disc manufacturers are privately held companies and you're not likely to get much more useful information than what they reveal on their websites. You can probably find some pretty good information on plastics molding processes in general but unlikely to get specifics on adjustments used to make discs. Good luck regardless. Maybe Dave Dunipace will see this and help you a little more.

Yeah, I know that a lot of the info is not disclosed, due to competitive reasons. I guess it would just be good to know some of the basic financial info. How much sales done per year? How many employees/departments does Innova include?

I am going to use my creativity on a lot of that stuff. Heck, if I can't find the info online, then my professor can't exactly check for the accuracy of it. lol

If you get Innova sales figures, please let everyone know. Some of the other manufacturers might pay for your paper...

You may laugh, but Chuck is serious. It will be difficult for you to come up with good financial figures for Innova. I suggest you go to your business school's library and describe to a staff member there what you are doing, and they can direct you to resources to find information on privately held companies.

Well, I don't have to have everything. We spoke about private companies in class and I can estimate a lot of the figures. I just want to get some general company info and I can fill in the blanks myself.

You could talk to David Mac, who isnt shy about anything, and probably multiply it by around 50.

He could and would also explain about everything else your looking for.
