I'm just looking for some info on these.
How many are out there or how many runs were made? Were most of them stamped with the star or were most custom stamped? Anything else that I missed.
Thanks guys

We had some tourney stamped for 2002 Pro Worlds in Houston.
Can't remember how many we had, but I think there was only 1 run.

I'm pretty sure the 1st run was from a Masters Tournament in Northern Cali, maybe the Masters Cup. Houck sent me and ClayDog a few of them. I'd have to do some major digging to find the disc in order to see what tournament it came from for sure.

Ive seen 2 runs or CE Gazelles.
First Run/Proto run. Ive seen Red, Raspberry, and clear with Star stamps and 2001 US Masters stamps.
2nd run was a CFR run. Ive seen mostly lighter weight ones. We received some for the 2002 Halloween Classic and all were supposed to weigh 155g. I think we had 50 of them. Ive also seen Fort Steilacoom Open, 2002 US Masters, Japan Open, and a few other stamps on these.

The first run with the Big Star Stamp were the first real run of Champion plastic ever, and they were released at the 2000 SoCal Championships along with the Star Stamped Champion Valks. (The first champion discs were about 20 clear TeeBirds at the 2000 PAW in Ann Arbor. I had one in my hand and handed it back saying "$20 is an awful lot for one disc." Stupid me, stupid me!)
I have Big Star Gazelles in Red, Blue, Yellow, and Orange. There were also green, orange, purple, and clear. Red was most prevalent.
The next run of CE Gazelles came in 2001, I believe, and they first released at the HB tourney along with CE Rhynos. This plastic was a little gummier than the ber-hard and indestuctible Big Star plastic, and the discs were all around 160g. The purple ones from this run would slowly turn clear if you left them in the sun, but they didn't turn back purple afterwards. They just stayed a "dirty clear".
I personally have never seen one of the ber-hard plastic ones with anything other than a Star Stamp, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there. I have a pile of the second runs with the U.S. Masters stamp as the second run 160g Gazelles are my wife's goto hyzer discs, so I stocked up.
The Star Stamp hard plastic ones also have some severe flashing that is also super hard. I creamed a tree right off the tee with a red one and the flashing at the point of impact didn't even break.

I saw a purply blue one that had a zonedriven stamp on it. I didn't weigh it, but I don't think it was hard. Any clue what that might be?

Purply is a word that should cause instant bannishment.

Well I guess I use it a lot since I went to K-State. I've got purple in my veins!
