What is the specific dates for Buckhorn this year? It is still not listed on the "tour" link. I have to get my schedule preferences in. Perhaps others are in the same position.

How about the am Crosstown. Is it going to be the week before the pros again?

Dude, I got Buckhorned......my gosh, over a thousand dollars for the weekend. I read all the stories about somebody catching bad luck, ridiculous weather, car crashes.....I was like man do people exagerate or what? Nope, it's true. There is something funky coming out of that smoke stack and it isn't steam. Ask Jay Clark about that duck? Hmmmm?

Am Crosstown is now an A-tier and will be the same weekend it always has been. At least as far back as I can remember. That is the 2nd weekend in March. 3/8 & 3/9/2008

I'm sure Buckhorn is part of the NC points series. Does anyone know where to find the other events? Rocky, looks like I'm progressing backwards to intermediate this year. Maybe we can play some together then :-)

the points series web site is www.ncdiscgolf.com (http://www.ncdiscgolf.com) there is no 2008 info. up yet and i know the comittee is making a few tweaks to the series this year that will make it new and improved. Mike Norris is the master behind this web site and i am sure he will have it updated before the first event which last year was Buckhorn. I hope this helps.

thanks for the info! FWIW, it might be a good idea to not make the clash at charlotte part of the advanced NC point series. Otherwise, some advanced players might have to choose between taking their (long)shot at qualifying for the USDGC (a noble effort) or competing for points in the points series

It's all about traveling and playing everything you can. You get a chance to play courses / tournaments you never thought you would play.

Since the ratings requirements changed for intermediates I would like to see a chase for that division.

If it is anything like the past 2 years, you two will be very close the whole time! Yes, lots of travel, but I'm looking forward to it. That's why I'm trying to find out the events - my schedule is about 2 months in advance, and I want to be sure to have the time off.

i think it is safe to assume that buckhorn and the am crosstown will def. be on the series. Coastal Plains winter open has a good chance as well as does Mooky's Cup.

That gets you through half of March. I would plan to be at these 4 events.
