94 entrants for a single course event was great!

It was very fun to see all of the local residents gawking at the huge, orderly progression of golfers flowing around the course and having SO much fun! Great visibility and promotion of the sport!

I think I threw 3 discs in the drink on the day but managed to successfully recover all 3 of them! :D It seemed like about 50 others didn't fair quite so well out there though!

One of my highlights for the day was scoring a circle 3 on hole #9! :D

No unofficial round ratings will be online since the TD report was immediately sent to PDGA HQ and Dave posted official results already. No prelim ratings until the official update near the end of January unless one of you wants to do them using the Excel league template?

All others played 18 holes first round, 18 second except FW2, I don't know exactly what the did but they had fun!



FW2 played 18 holes in the 1st round from the short tees. They played 18 holes in the 2nd round from the long tees. Also, London (girl's U13) played from the short tees in the 2nd round instead of the junior tees.

Note that you want to do each round on a separate copy of the template to see the individual round ratings. Otherwise, you'll just get an average rating for the event for each player.

Larry, if your game is like mine, you don't play better in the wind. The field just plays down to your level.

Great! I am anxious to see what the round ratings turn out to be...it was very breezy out there and I'm sure it had an effect on the scores. (I know - I know, I'm one of those sick individuals that actually play better in the wind! :D)



Larry, if your game is like mine, you don't play better in the wind. The field just plays down to your level.

Looks like I played at an average of 35 rating points above my current rating though...I'm very happy with that!

The best thing about Saturday was that I stepped up to play in the Masters division because the MPG field didn't fill. I didn't have high expectations about beating Lance much less Stimpy. Stimpy got to see me doing the "Happy-Happy, Joy-Joy" dance on Saturday night as I celebrated winning some of his cash! :D

Will the intermediate women get ratings for this tournament? They might not get ratings for the 1st round (short tees), but I think they should get ratings for the 2nd round (long tees). Is this correct?
