I am happy to report the development of yet another new course in Arkansas -- this one at Cadron Creek Outfitters north of Greenbrier Arkansas. This has the potential of being one really sweet course with nearly 100 acres at our disposal consisting of fields, tumbling streams, ponds and the majestic woodlands bordering the North Fork of Cadron Creek. In fact, our goal is to make playing the course like taking a nature walk. Many times you'll encounter deer, quail, ducks and other wildlife as you play the course. Moreover we're going for variety -- long open field shots of 400+ feet, water hazard shots, and woodland shots with tight fairways so as to "level the playing field".
Right now the first nine holes are operational -- albeit not set in stone -- and the next nine are being roughed out and the baskets (lightning DB-5s) are already purchased and on site. However what we really need is for folks to start playing the course, walking the land and helping us create a "marvelous work and wonder". We need advise and constructive criticism. Thus all are invited -- you can find us at -- Cadron Creek Outfitters - Map (http://www.cadroncreekoutfitters.com/Mapx.html). We welcome your assistance in this endeavor or simply drop by and enjoy a "walk in the woods".
I'll keep you posted as we complete the course.
