What is up Tulsa,

I have been chatting with my old buddy Jeremy Rusco of Dynamic Discs and it looks like he has got quite a show planned for the 20th.

It is a one day B-Tier, Rusco is going to have lots of added cash thrown in and....not to mention....

My man has got A CFR list you will not believe....

"Champion Destroyers, Pro Destroyers, Star Whippet-X, Champion Gator, Champion Teerex-X, and Champion Gremlins! I'm sure the Destroyers will be gone as soon as they arrive as I will be taking pre-orders."

That is right CHAMP AND PRO DESTROYERS!!!

ONE DAY!!!

NICE LITTLE DRIVE TO KANSAS.....!

He is expecting over a 100 again this year and I would believe it! People are going to be coming from far and wide to be in this Advanced division...

The courses are going to be nice too! They are well kept and are both in the same park...Jones Park to be specific...

Rusco was telling me the players packs would be nice as well, of course we Tulsa guys are spoiled as far as players packs go...

Don't let this one slip under the radar!!! :D

THIS WILL BE THE PERFECT WARMUP FOR THE OO...

BE THERE!

This event was moved to the 21st due to a scheduling conflict, I have heard a few people are going from T town....

Yup I guess so....FYI.

The date was changed, it was that Saturday...I talked to Rusco and he said that the Park Department Double Booked the course (or the whole park that is). It was either him or a cross country meet, and the cross country won.

Don't mean to divide Tulsa players, I just figured that everyone who is going to the Jeremy Martin Memorial is probably already set, and those who are on the fence about it would probably not skip a tourney in OKC to drive 4 hours to Emporia.....

Didn't mean to step on anyones toes...but these events are over 250 miles apart....

Rusco often supports local events and I know he is planning on playing the OO.......

Just wanted to say thanks to Andrew for adding this to the TDSA thread! I'd love to see some Oklahoma folk but wish this tourney could have stayed on Saturday. I don't expect to see anyone here but thanks for posting all the info. It's a bummer to see two good events on the same day and only a little over 3 hours apart. The Open Men's division will see no less than $500 for first place at this one day and of course top notch Am. payout.

I love playing in Tulsa and can't wait for the OO! You'll see a bunch from Emporia from the way it sounds.

Get ready for the Glass Blown Open next year. The tourney just got handed over for Dynamic Discs to handle. We are going to have it in late March or early April and going to make it a two day A/B tier like the OO! I think we'll see around 200 this year with lots of fundraising and some of the best payout around.

There is a one day non-sanctioned event that I am hosting in Newton Kansas on Saturday to take the place of the void in the schedule. If anyone in northern Oklahoma is looking for a tourney check out the KDGA site for details. Probably only see 50-60 players for this event though. The course has 24 holes and alternate locations on each.

If anyone has any questions about either event feel free to call me!

Yah, it is on Sunday now! Thinking about making the trip? It's only around 2.5 hours from Bartlesville. I'll be going through there next week. Is the course worth stopping and playing? Anything I should know?

Bartlesville course @ Sooner Park, Concrete tees, Mach 3's
On some rolling hills, some elevation change,
Scattered trees thru out, only 9 holes.
# 1 is by the bathrooms. Doesn't take 45 minutes to get in a round.
As for this Sunday... uncertain at this point.
I just figured out it was moved to Sunday.
We shall see.
