We'll be holding a monthly on Saturday, October 6th at Pymatuning. Start will be 10:00 am.
This will take the place of that Saturday's Superman event in Warren.
If you didn't make it up for our recent event, get yourself off the couch and we'll see you there! I've checked and (don't believe) there are significant conflicts???

LOL. :D
Do you need a ride up from Pittsburgh, Josh? I'll be leaving about 7:30 AM from my hotel near the airport.

actually Jeff, I wouldnt mind meeting you at your hotel and cruisin up there together. A 35 minute drive beats a 2 hour drive! Plus I wont be flying solo which is always better. I'll PM you the week of to sure things up.

Sounds good. If it's more convenient, I can pick you up on my way north out of the city rather than have you drive all the way to my hotel near the airport.

Jeff,
It might be quicker/more direct coming directly up rt60 from the airport, then up rt18 through Hermitage (my town) and Greenville to get to the park. Usually takes me about an hour to get to the airport, maybe slightly less.

It was a great time. The new course is spectacular - look for a full review when I get some time. We played random draw doubles and two locals players shot 63 from the Gold tees to win. I was teamed up with Bill Flynn, playing against Rich Givens who was California. Rich was up by a stroke going into the pro par four hole#18, and I made about a 70-75 footer for a birdie 3 and we tied Rich at 64.

64, not bad at all. Makes me realize how good Rich's 62 was at the tournament they had that me and Jerry were at. We all played a great round, but Rich really played the course near perfect.
3 par 66 courses within 45 minutes of my house, and I guess Knob long to c is about 63. Where else in the world has disc golf courses like these....seriously.

If you can get to Pymatuning in 45 minutes from your house, methinks you are MAJORLY breaking some speed limits. :D

and yes Pymatuning is a beauty. Long and open with some nice wooded holes. A few overhanging limbs and very little clearing still needs done, but it is gorgeous as is.

Sorry, sorry, busy with some stuff these days! The course still needs 5 baskets and a set of signs for the front nine. Anyone want to jump in and sponsor a hole on the official FDM course? In any case, we'll likely wrap this beauty up by late spring. As soon as the time changes and days are longer we'll go back to weekly Wed night pick up stuff at 6pm, too, so make it out whenever you get the chance.
