I started throwing this last week and I really like it. It is more overstable than the ESP and seems flatter due to the softer plastic. I know a lot of people don't like the way that FLX discs feel but I am getting a very consistant release on it. I am not using it for distance b/c it isn't that long for me but it is great for hyzers that are a little long for my ESP Predator. It is also really good for headwind shots because it is so flat. I was throwing a Max for headwind drives because I feel that there is too much drag on my Preds but I think the FLX Surge replaces the Max. It may not be quite as overstable but it is high speed stable and very low speed overstable.

Anyone else like this disc?

I simply love droopy, gooey plastic. But alas I love sb orcs a wee bit more. I've got two surge flx's, and they are butter, but just don't have a slot for em in my bag, except for wet weather time. Awesome grippy.

Can't stand 'em. I may throw them in the winter out of necessity, but right now I can feel them bend when I pull them through and that just doesn't make me too comfortable with staying consistent on throws..

I used to throw them, before surgery. Good distance driver. I got it cause I loved the rogue and wanted something more stable. Pretty good in a headwind, big hyzers, and flex shots. Compliments a rogue really well.

as a esp surge thrower i gave them a try. as stable as a flick. to use them along side I sanded the flashing off the flx since beating it up is unlikely. for those who dont know flashing is the extra line or lines of plastic left after the plastic is pressed. this gave my flx surge a s line. Now everyone and there mother is giving me there disc, so I fix them. They fly great, just as long as my crushes, avengers and esp surges.
