Invitation is extended to players in Chapin this weekend to come play Stoney Hill after the rounds. We're about 30 minutes from Crooked Creek. I'll be returning there both afternoons, though Sunday may be easier since everyone will have only played 1 round, plus field events, so have more energy.

Check with me if you're interested. I can give you a backroads route from crooked creek, instead of the map on the course website.

For those who don't know, this event combiines 3 rounds of disc golf with a morning of field events---traditionally distance contest, MTA (Maximum Time Aloft), and an accuracy contest. The disc golf tournament stands on its own, but is also combined with the others into an overall trophy contest. Something a little different from the routine tournament.

The "creek" in Crooked Creek hasn't been seen for a few months, owing to the drought. However, it appears the organizers have scheduled some rain for this afternoon, perhaps to restore the creeks and keep me from referring to it as the "Crooked Ditch" course. We'll see.
