Hiyas,

I've got tomorrow morning free and I'm looking to sneak in a round of DG in the immediate Richmond area. Any course suggestions would be most appreciated.

Much to my own dismay, I also neglected to pack ANY discs, so I'm also looking for a place where I can pick up a Roc or Teebird or any disc to chuck.

Any help would be enormously appreciated. We're staying at the Windham Hotel just off Rt 64 in Richmond.

respond or email me at [email protected]

Thank you!!

Go to DG Course Review (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/) and search under "Richmond, VA". (At the moment my review of Dorey Park is on the front page, so right now you can just click on that.)

Then go to DG Course Reviews Google Group (http://groups.google.com/group/DG-Course-Reviews), join, and download the "U.S. course guide" for directions to all the Richmond courses.

My preferences, in order, are:
1. Dorey
2. Dunncroft
3. Gillies Creek

Thanks for the advice Lowe. We played Dorey on Sat. Nice little chip/putt course with varied terrain/elevation. I'd definitely play it again next year (hopefully with more than just a beat up Cheetah I bought off a kid for $10.) Thankfully it was mostly wooded as it was HOT out there!!

Also, just wanted to commend you on the great DG Course review website you're working on. The site looks great and offers valuable insight as to the playability of a course. Thank you for your efforts.

Thanks. I'm glad it helped.

If you ever get a chance to drive 1.5 hrs to Charlottesville from Richmond IMO Walnut Creek is one of the best courses in VA and one of my top 20 favorites of ~200 played.

I assume you were referring to DGCourseReview.com I'm glad to be a contributor there. Tim has done tons of useful work. There is lots of info at my google group that I'm shifting over to dgcoursereview.com
