Not sure if this is the right spot, but...how is it that some of the results from late August that were sent in last week are not up but some from even this weekend are?
Just curious...

Easy answer, the TD's have not gotten the data in. If you like the data in quickly then talk up the TD's that are prompt and let the other TD's know if they are slow.

TDs have 30 days to send their reports to the PDGA office at which time the results without ratings will be posted. In the mean time, TDs have control over whether they post scores online for their event or not where the unofficial ratings will be displayed. It's the TDs call on that.

What happens after 30 days have passed and the TD's have not fulfilled their requirements? I'm wondering this because the results/ratings from the Fire Cracker Fling (June 30) were not included in anyones most recent ratings, which were tabulated well after the 30 day deadline. Is it up to the players to light a fire under the TD's buttocks or does the PDGA send them some sort of nastygram about not having the proper paperwork submitted?

Even if the TD has submitted the paperwork within the proper timeframe, it still takes some time for the PDGA office staff to process and post the results. A good example is Colorado State Doubles - the tournament was in May. The TD completed the reports and sent them to the PDGA within a week of the tournament. However, the results were not posted until this past ratings update on 28 Aug.

The PDGA does send out reminder notices. Doubles results don't get rated and I think Dave was working on a better way to post doubles results online that may have delayed posting. Consider that Dave is on the road for most of July and early August every year helping run several championships and that means the big backlog of TD reports gets processed in mid-August.

Well that statement probably would have saved a lot of grievance aired on the Mile High boards... and the TD defending himself vehemently. I'm not really sure why folks were upset since it was doubles, but I'm willing to bet it had to do more with personal issues than the results themselves...

I thought there was a rule on Majors and A-tiers having to post scores in a certain amount of time???anyone??

No requirement for any event to post scores except the Championships that have that requirement in their contract with the PDGA. TD report has to be to PDGA HQ within 48 hours of event completion. That would mean the TD has the scores in a form that can be uploaded by then.

If the PDGA gets them, that means they are already in a format for posting by either the TD or the PDGA.
