As you all should know, the Mad City Open (http://madcitydisc.org/madcityopen/) is going on this weekend.

As the registration page (http://madcitydisc.org/madcityopen/registration.html) of that website states, the entry fees will increase after August 7th. That will also include the registration fees found on Take Flight Today. It does cost an extra $5 to use the Take Flight Today versus mailing it in but with how tight time and the fields are getting it might be your only chance to secure your spot.

Get signed up online or in person right away because this event could certainly fill up. Plus it helps the event run more smoothly when everyone is pre-registered.

MadCityOpen was a blast.
The courses looked better than ever, and the improvements made quite a difference - especially the retaining wall on #5 at Heistand. Well done.

I agree!. I want to say thank you to the Madison Area Disc club, Brad, Nellie , The Madison and Dane county parks system and all of the other MCO crews. Both the staff and numerous spotters were very helpful and i thank all of them for that. I also want to thank the numerous players who adopted a hole to help keep the Madison course clean and to those who shoveled ROC or helped work on the course. You ALL are doing a great job.
This was the first MAD CITY I have played in about 3 or so years and i was very happy i played. The courses looked great and played even better. They both really do offer a great test of a players all around disc golf skills.
The free GLASS NICKEL Pizza for lunch was great. There was even veggie pizza!
The payout was good and it looked like people were having fun. There was also some great golf played.
A great event and I am glad i played. I am looking forward to next year.
