Thinking my chances of Monday qualifying have dropped dramaticaly, might have to play the Nest.

xterramatt
Sep 12 2007, 02:47 PM
The front of the Nest is playing real easy right now. Shot a 23 and missed 1, 2, 3, 6 (bad putt).

The back is playing as it always has, cost me some strokes, but they were my mistakes. Went 2,3 (gack), SEVEN, 4 (doh!), 2, 3, 4, 2, 2. It's all there and my 52 could have EASILY been a 47.

It's there. Holes 6, 7, and 9 are now 6, 8, and 9, and I would say that anyone could birdie all three, whereas before it was pretty much Power, Lefty, Lefty for the old holes.

Just making an enquiry on the off chance that someone can help. I'm playing Pro Masters at the Charlotte Open, and looking to work out travel and accommodation.

I am flying from Britain into Charlotte on Thursday and would love to hook up with someone to share accommodation and transport. Might be someone living locally or someone staying at the tournament hotel. I would much rather share some costs than hire a car and try to navigate my way round Charlotte whilst jet-lagged.

I'll be heading off to Rock Hill on Sunday.

michaeljo

yes 6 will more than likely be a temp basket that will play to almost the old hole and 8 is the same and 9 will be a little longer but not much due to the construction in the park, but we do atleast have fly pads for those holes now

I lost two discs today at the nest that I would love to have back.

A Glo Eagle on 12 (about 50 - 75 feet left of fairway about 50 - 75 short of pin high - imagine a bad agressive second shot)

A White Champion Orc with a green stamp across the road on 7 ( a sky roller that cut left around the 2nd tree).

The Eagle has a RADL stamp on it and has myname on the inside lip.

The Orc has my name on the inside lip and LL 3832 on the top ( I bought it off of Larry).

If someone finds them, please contact me.

no thank goodness!!

the eagle was between rounds and the orc the entire group saw the disc go out of bounds, therefore I played it as an OB stroke.

It is the same thing as a disc going in a lake - you lose it, but you play normal OB rules.

A tasty 46 it must have been. Geoff told me last week he wasn't planning on having to qualify on Monday. Guess he was right.

Leaving with Critter and Liz later today. Woo Hoo.

DS, hold down the fort tonight. Toss a few bulls for me and say hi to the clubhousers.

guess that takes the sting off a little... nothing like losing your discs and getting stroked for it.

FYI- Since all rounds were on the same layout, scores from all four rounds will be used to determine the ratings. So ratings in R1 & R4 will be a little lower and R2 & R3 a little higher. A score of 51 will end up about 1026.

well the record is 44, Geoff shot 46.

However, this technically is the record b/c there some changes to the course.

But the course is easier than it was before :D

A great round none the less.

Ah, too bad. 1075 is his highest rated round yet. Hopefully it does not drop hard.

Joe, the fort is safe. Have fun down there! Hopefully the lead card footage will include the KING.

I'm thinking the 1075 might ease back to 1071 or 1072. Still very hot.
