The new 9 in the woods (Orange Crush) is a very exciting addition to an already championship course - The Seth Burton Memorial Disc Golf Course - designed by 1986 PDGA World Champ Johnny Sias.

This makes for 27 very unique holes of disc golf. Checkout some course pics at www.sbdiscgolf.info/gallery2.html (http://www.sbdiscgolf.info/gallery2.html)

Last weekend workday a huge success, currently the Seth Burton Memorial Disc Golf Course has a complete set of 18 short concrete tee pads and after our next work day the remaing 2 longs will be poured. This completes the SBMDGC with 33 total concrete tee's (18 shorts' and 15 longs') with "A" and "B" basket placements.

Reminder: in addition to the this course, we will be playing a blended round including the new front 9 of "Orange Crush" (located in the same park as the SBMDGC) flowing into > the back 9 of the Seth Burton Memorial Disc Golf Course - much thanks to Johnny Sias for coming up with the idea to link the new course with the existing. Next year the back 9 of Orange Crush will be complete to make this a 36 hole disc golf complex - whoo-hooh!!

Great job on the tee pads!! I especially like #11. The course gets better every day!

We have more fun on tap as part of the Pleasant Valley Classic:

It's a round of Random Doubles on Friday, September 14th. Show up at 5:30pm, and we will get started shortly after that. Come on over and get a round in before Saturday's tournament. Bring $5, and everything will be paid back out. PLUS, we will have some cool CTPs in the form of plastic.

Friday - Disc Doubles, Random Draw

Friday Night - Super rate at the Super 8

Saturday - Pleasant Valley Classic!
