The Double R Disc Golf Club is proud to announce the 2007 Outlaw Singles Shootout September 22 & 23 at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, TX. New TD Ed Coffey has made this tournament a Southern National Qualifier. Also there will be a Silent auction & raffle benefiting the Wright Way Foundation.

Register 4 ways:
1. In person thru September 15th @ Disc Nation located @ 1218 Slaughter Lane West, Austin (cash, check or credit card accepted)
2. On line thru September 15th @ http://www.titledisc.com
3. Mail this entry form & check payable to Laura Coffey (treasure) to 3232 Winding Way, Round Rock TX 78664 (must be received by Friday September 21)
4. In person @ Old Settlers Park Friday September 21 from 3pm-8pm

Registration ends Friday 21st- if you�re not paid & checked in by Friday night you�re not in the tournament. We will not be set up to accept registration or payment Saturday the 22nd.
Field will be limited to 84 players with 3 rounds of 21 holes & a final 9 holes for top � of each division � payout top 1/3 with the Super Skins match to follow for top 4 Open scores.

Players meeting 9 am Sat 22nd @ Lakeside Pavilion Area.1st Round Tee off Saturday @ 9:30am 3rd Round Tee Sunday @ 9:00 am - all other start times TBA.

All Open Divisions - $70 All Advanced Divisions - $45 All Intermediate Divisions - $35
You must have at least 3 players to make a division. No rec. divisions will be offered
Includes $3 PDGA fee, $2 Southern National fee

I'd like to see if we can plan a few (3) work days before Oulaws.
1 - finish C-hole retaining wall on Pro Box
2 - weed eat the hell out of the course - tee boxes, tree bottoms, baskets, & some rough areas lining the fairways
3 - a holes tee box needs work & OB paint/string needs marked w/Edman (week of)
I'm sure there's quite a bit more that should be taken care of between now & then & the city will be working on brush & branches as well as mowing again. This weekend is for family & it looks like rain, but if a few people have time, a lot can be done in a short time...

got the plane tickets, it's a go, hopefully can sign up within a week or so, can't wait, ROUNDROCK!! :D

All players & spectators can order lunches from our Out of Bounds sponsor Obee's to be delivered to the park at 12:00 each day for $5 per lunch. Sandwiches with chips & cookie or Salads with cookie will be available to order at check-in on Friday evening, Saturday a.m. prior to the players meeting and Sunday before 2 minutes is called. Lunches must be paid for when ordered & will not be available unless ordered in advance. Tea, Gatorade & Water will be provided by the Double R Disc Golf Club.

OK lot's of requests coming in to be puTT on the player's list. NOBODY'S spot is gauranteed until Friday, Once I get the first 84 paid entrants it's full. I have a few on the list now unpaid, this goes for you as well. I'm not taking signups Sat, I won't have a full HQ set up Sat. Please send all $ to my house and your in. Discnation is also taking signups. You can sign up Sun. morning at the Rock hole 1, you can sign up Wed at the park at hole 13. After that your on your own. So there it is, many ways for those who want to get signed up. Please make the staff's job easier. Please take the stress off your game and sign up paid so your know your in.

Just a reminder before the tournament. As any of you practice hole 8, look for wasps. Paul W. and now someone playing casual during the Sunday morn. mini got stung. The casual player said he birdied the hole and was stung in the eye while retrieving his disc. Also check inside the pole.

I will take a look next time I am out there and see if I can locate the nest

A huge thanx to the Double R Club memebers that helped make this weekend a huge success. 79 player came to our house & were shown a spectacular time. Thanx to each of you that contributed time $ and effort to make this the best it could be. Still room for improvement - but all in all this weekend went off without a hitch. THANK YOU!! ROUND ROCK!!!

Thnax Boyz - ya'll were a huge help in a pinch this weekend. Jaimie, Steve-O, Mamma G, Blaizo, Ware, G, & everyone else who pitched in to make this a little easier for me to do without my BETTER half - THANK YOU! Your efforts did not go unnoticed by me or anyone else.

Yoshi - Edman been off the golf since Live Oak with an inflammed disc - he'd been feelin pretty good & overdid it Friday... He was not able to help run his tournament or even come out on Sunday. :(

For those of you who want to know, we did not end up taking him to the ER on Sunday & his pain is down from a 10+ to about a 5 right now. Still not out of bed or the bedroom, & we'll be getting an MRI later this week. Thanx for all your concern & good thoughts, this year has really freakin' sucked health wise! I'll keep you posted on his progress - looks like the club party may happen mostly in the master bed room of the club house for us...

Lala I think once we get him out to Pauls and he hot tubs that will help those soar back muscles.

Just wanted to say that I had a blast seeing my Round Rock family and throwing plastic around my home course. Wish I could have putt on Saturday the way I did Sunday, but oh well, next time I'll get there sooner to get acclimated to the flat land :D Great tourney as usual, yall, good work and thanks to all who staffed and helped out, hope to make it that way again soon and give a shout anyone if your in my neck of the woods, I'll put you up and show you around. Feel better soon Edman. Love all of yall.

Just picked up the 1st official sponsor for this years Outlaws. USWDGC & the Rocket City Chain Gang will be sending $100 our way & we'll be sponsoring the Dragon Hole (380 over water) @ USWDGC. Tournaments are the same weekend - nice cross promoting. :)
