We are building it, Will they come? Why wouldn't they awesome course, awesome club hosting it, and always a good payout. Will the Okies come down this year for this one? I'm sure they'll be in the house. Good things planned for all involved, sign up early, I think this will fill since it's moved off of Labor Day weekend.

It helps to know what your looking for when it comes to that skin scratching ivy. But I agree with seewhere, i have only broken out twice this year compared to about once a week last year and the years before that. Knock on wood.

james_mccaine
Sep 18 2007, 03:43 PM
All I know is that I used to brag about "Oh, that stuff doesn't bother me" after Chris goes "you know, that's poison ivy" as I am stretching across an ivy laden tree near the lake on 16.

I am now allergic to the stuff, even though it is still mild and less annoying the the daily chigger bites I get out at Bart.

This tourney, I am not screwing up and ending up there. Those people sunning in their backyard better watch out. :p

Ok ladies -after one of the toughest weekend I've ever had, your scores are posted. :) Sheet My_Hero, can a girl get some sleep before someone gets one her arse about the scores, even seehorse hasn't got on me for them yet. :D As an emergency fill in TD, I think I did a pretty good job.

I'd like to personally thank my staff for helping pull me through this. With out a club like ours, something like this could never get pulled off. Double R Disc Golf Club is the best family to belong to.

Thank you to all 79 players that came to face the ROCK. This is still one of the most challenging courses around, & I don't care who you are - if it's too long, you are too old.

Thank you to all our sponsors, with out whom we could never make all the little things happen - like a $500 skins match.

I wasn't getting on your arse. :DI was simply asking questions that i knew a few friends could answer. I do know the amount of work and lack of sleep it takes to run an A+ event.

The only reason SeeHORSE wasn't yelling "SCORES?" since Sunday afternoon is because he was there and knew what took place.

Everything was organized last night in the garage by a group of fairy midgets that loaded, unloaded, organized stuff, ate leftovers, cleaned up & left as magically as they appeared.
I can bring all club members items to the mini Wednesday. Not sure when I'll be in Austin again, I'm at home with Ed for now, so I might need a hand getting Waterloo their awnings & coolers.

They're together empty in the garage - one doesn't have a lid that I see, but it could be mixed in with the awnings & water coolers.
I'll have everyones stuff Wed & will give you back your little tourney box then too.
