Sorry to say this but the Phoeinx courses suck. I lived there for 6 years and it ruined my game. All the shots are wide open, long hyzers. But since your there here they are in order of which ones you should play:
<ul type="square">
Vista Del Camino (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=25)
Moeur Park (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=26)
Fountain Hills (http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=21)
[/list]
The courses in Flagstaff are good so if you get a chance head up there. There are other courses listed in the PDGA for the phoenix area but I wouldn't recomended any of them, in fact I'd suggest staying away and playing one of those three I mentioned above again.

Go to Flagstaff and play Snowbowl...the course is on the Snowbowl mountain outside of town. Anybody or anywhere in town should be able to give you directions. Also play Thorpe and NAU. Phoenix play Fountain Hills and Vista del Camino. They are beautiful courses but there is a lot of open shots

If you go to Flagstaff hit up NAU. It is a power course. Also the snowbowl course is great if it is still there and/or if it is open. Sometimes the fire and lightnig danger closes the mountain but if it is open it is AWESOME. I remember when Worlds where there a few years back I played that course, in the rain, with a ton of wind ... it kick my butt. There is one hole that is rediculously long that I saw a female hit with a putter. Like over 800 or 1000 feet or something. I threw my whole bag on that hole and put one several hundred feet past it.

Careful on fountain hills you can lose alot of disc's real fast. It plays around a lake and it slopes towards the lake with nothing to stop a disc. Vista is pretty nice with some water too. They can both play tough in the hardest settings. Fountain hills is cool though..

Oh man that is sooooooooooooooooo true. I saw a group in front of mine throw a skip hyzer on number 3 or 4 (can't remember which one) it skipped and shot right into the chest of a roller blader. It was hilarious, especially since he didn't get hurt (except for his pride). :D

Thanks for the advice. I played Snowbowl and NAU this weekend. Both were very nice!
