The Washington (PA) Area Disc Golf Club is holding its first meeting on Monday, July 9th, at 6pm. The meeting will be held at Community Park in South Strabane Township.

This is our first meeting so we will be forming the club, deciding on some basic stuff, and deciding on how to proceed in relation to the proposed disc golf course in Community Park.

For those who are interested, Ryan Julian and I will be arriving at 4:30pm and looking at some proposed alternative holes (in response to township issues and our course walk with J. Gary Dropcho).

DIRECTIONS TO COMMUNITY PARK
From Washington, PA: Take Beau Street (Route 136) northeast out of town. After crossing I-79/I-70, go 2.2 miles and turn right onto Zediker Station Road. Drive ~1 mile and turn right onto Floral Hill Drive. The park is right there on the left and is called Community Park.

From Pittsburgh Area: Take I-79 South. At the I-70 Junction stay on I-79 South/I-70 East (towards New Stanton). Take the Beau Street exit. Turn right at end of ramp (at light). Go 2.2 miles and turn right onto Zediker Station Road. Drive ~1 mile and turn right onto Floral Hill Drive. The park is right there on the left and is called Community Park.

How did the meeting go and what is next? Ryan called me right before the PFDO and said he had done a new routing with the suggestions we made.
