I am pleased to announce a new course will be opening in Jasper County, SC. The course will be located at Sgt. Jasper Park in Hardeeville, SC. The park is located one mile from Exit 8 off 95 in SC.

Russell Schwarz from Innova will be doing the design. Discs in the air before Labor Day! More details to follow!

Great news---and a convenient stopover for disc golfers traveling down I-95. Any preview as to what kind of property and course we can look forward to?

The property is not as perfect as the location for Stoney Hill. However, the layout will utilize old maintenace roads, at least one lake, and some power line easements.

Russell was enthusiastic about the potential. It is my only hope that we can one day be as gracious hosts as the Sauls family.

I hope the clan will make the trip when we are up and running. I will keep you posted.

Knowing it won't have elevation, due to the location, but water always adds interest. A lake is good. Just curious about how many acres available for disc golf and whether there are other amenities---large trees (or better, large spreading Live Oaks), open areas to boom a few or fight the wind, etc. Just curious, and wondering if you expect a short course, a gold course, or something in between?

Russell did a great job on our course in Reidsville, NC. Lots of OB with the roads and a lake that comes into play on 2 holes. Course is a must play in NC.
