Go to Discgolftv.com and check out the product reviews area. David Feldberg has a review of the Star and Champion Roadrunners on there. He shows you how they react as rollers. They seem to be pretty nice!

My star sidewinder seems to be more overstable than my champ...So I guess it depends on how far down your run you want the disc to stand up. If you want the disc to hit and stand up quicker, throw the champ....and like-wise if you want it to hit and stand up later, throw star.

Same for the Roadrunner.

According to Feldberg's review on DGTV, he was saying that the STAR Roadrunner is less stable than it's champion counterpart. I've never thrown the champion so I can't compare.

for all discs star vs champ ive found understable discs to become less stable in star and overstable discs to become more overstable in star. starfires, teebirds, wraiths teerexs became more overstable, my sidewinder and feldbergs rrunner were less stable than champ plastic.

I agree..... the roadrunner is a better roller than the sidewinder....I was just commenting on his desire to use his sidewinder as his roller. The only other inPUTT i would put in is that my champ discs seem stiffer than my star discs on the rim.....In my opinion, you want the hardest plastic possible for your roller. I am an innova fan, but I found a scream DT max from marshall street that I bought for $5....It is incredibly understable and VERY hard plastic (quest) It has made a perfect roller for me IMHO

Who cares about how it rolls? I've found that although I can throw stuff like TeeRexs 410 regularly, it takes far less effort to throw a RoadRunner 430! I love the disc for long straight drives, so effortless and reliable.

162g Star RoadRunner FTW.
