Hey-

There are a couple new products now available from REVOLUTION Disc Golf. Thought it might be nice for board readers to get a first look and a brief description to keep you in the loop.

First up is a sweet new pattern for the Carolina TEAM Bag. We've been getting requests to add a camo pattern. We finally found a supplier that produces 1000d Cordura for the military - so this stuff is the real deal!

http://www.discgolfer.com/camo.small.jpg

Called Universal Camo, the 1000d material is super tough and contrasts nicely with the 1650 Cordura in the main body of the bag. Like all REVOLUTION Bags, these are MADE IN USA and feature the best construction and durability in disc golf. There's limited availability of this pattern at this point, so get them quick. Here's a link:

(Not quite sure what advantage having a camo bag will have. Maybe it will allow you to sneak up on your competition? :D)

Next up is another new color for the Carolina TEAM Bag. It's a pale green called Celery in the swatchbook. Together with the grey 1650d Cordura in the main body, the combination looks great!

Too many hot pink Carolina TEAM bags in your area? The Celery/Grey might be a great alternative. Here's a link:

The Universal Camo is available in the same 500d we use in the MINI Bags. The Carolina TEAM Bags came out so well that we will most definitely add it the the MINI Bag lineup in the near future.

Steve-

New RollCage frames for your bag can be ordered via the following link:

http://www.comportunity.com/product.php?productid=16150&cat=109&page=1

This latest batch of frames is made of a different plastic than the original two batches. It is a bit whiter in appearance and is far more resilient a little more like golf disc plastic.

Thanks,

How about a cage where the divider stays in place?!

That's my biggest complaint about an otherwise awesome $105 bag. I'm gonna take my frame apart and get rid of the divider that always slides out of place, or drill some holes in the horizontal members so I can slide pins in to adjust the divider.

Use zip ties around the main bar to hole the divider in place. Or put a screw in it.

Thanks for sending over your order. You got the last one from the first batch. We're working on more now and should have them back in stock the first week in July.

The Universal Camo is also available in the 500d of the MINI Bags. Should have those available some time by the middle or end of July. Maybe a first batch of Dual Packs in the Universal Camo as well

Thanks again!

dave9921

You can put your putters in the mesh utility pockets. Each one will hold two aviar or magnet-style putters or one Nalgene bottle.

I've also seen players use the flat zipper pocket on the front of the upper compartment to hold a putter or two.

I keep two Wizards in each of the side pockets (where the mesh is connected to.) There's plenty of room in the top comparment for gear so that I don't need that extra room except for discs, and it leaves the mesh pockets open for water bottles.

Dudes and Dudettes-

Here's a peek at the new REVOLUTION Deluxe MINI Bag. It combines the storage and materials of the PRO Bag with the 8-10 disc capacity of the MINI Bag:

http://www.discgolfer.com/deluxe.mini.front.72.jpg

The Deluxe MINI offers a padded back, two open putter pockets, two large zipper storage pockets, a front zipper pocket, two 32oz insulate bottle holders, a truck vinyl bottom, and a nice padded shoulder strap. The bag is made of 1000d Cordura in the main body, 500d Cordura in the outside pockets, and an ultra-tough truck vinyl bottom. You can read more about it here:

Hooking up the Quads is no problem. The Deluxe MINI has its own padded shoulder strap, which attaches via two D-rings on the top of the bag. There are also two nylon utility loops on the padded back side of the bag for those who like the four points of attachment.

It sure can!

I keep 6-7 discs in the top portion with the mini cage or the original mini frame... you need to balance the bag better though, as it sometimes wants to tip over...

Let me start by saying that I love my Revo bag...

But how do you run a business where an order was placed a month ago, an email sent with your receipt... but no update on where it is, etc? I submitted an order on 6/16, and have not received my products or an email stating a shipping date.

The same thing happened when I ordered my Revo bag. What a horrible biz model... not to communicate with your customers.

This drives me nuts.

I've received a couple of emails from Dave in the last few days. If you haven't tried to call, I would do that ... sometimes email gets caught somewhere along the way (spam filters, etc.)
Dave has always been good at getting back to me right away when he gets my email ... I'm thinking he might not be getting yours.
Just an idea ... phone him.

BTW, I've never had any problem getting my orders quickly. So my guess is there's a communication breakdown somewhere.

it has 2 32oz. bottle holders(just like the carolina bag)
same room for discs as the mini bag however it has room for 2 putters
2 huge storage pockets on each end(i can fit about 3-4 rocs in each end.
a small front pocket.
rain flap
back padding like the carolina bag so you can also tuck the rain flap out of the way.
mini pockets on both sides(beside the drink holders like the carolina bag)
only one side has a pencil holder
it does not have an umbrella holder

i have 2 putter in the putter pockets, 3 rocs and 7 drivers in the main compartment

Question for all those Deluxe Mini owners out there: how is the shoulder strap that comes with the bag?

I don't own Quadshocks or any other fancy straps, and would rather not invest in them at this point if I don't have to. I've been using an old backpack since 2003, so it's hard enough for me to decide to spend $70 on a bag, much less having to spend another $40 for it to be comfortable, if that's what it takes.

So is the strap that comes with the Deluxe Mini comfortable for a day of disc golf, especially with it loaded down with discs/water, etc... or are quadshocks a must for any real day of disc golf?

Any opinions are welcome. As I've become more serious about the game, a real disc golf bag has become a recurring consideration. I've about 90 percent decided on the Revo Deluxe Mini, but opinions on the strap would help finalize my decision. I tried to see what pictures looked like on the Web site, but it was hard to tell much about the strap. And most people I've read who have reviewed the bag are using Quadshocks with them...

Thanks for your help.

The first photo includes the Team strap. The bag is fully loaded. Random stuff in the side pockets. 40oz bottle in one cup holder, towel shoved in the other. Wizard in each putter pocket. Main compartment from left to right: Z Pred, QOLF, SOLF, 2x OLF, SEX, 3x Roc, Wizard, all resting on the frame. You could probably put 4 more discs in each side pocket if necessary.

Black/Charcoal
Navy/Charcoal
Silver/Charcoal
Rust/Charcoal
Blue Skies/Charcoal
Snow/Charcoal

The Blues Skies changed recently and is a little darker. It is one of my personal favorites!
