Anybody going to any tournaments on June 23? My wifey gave me the day to play woohooo. Also, is anyone going to the Seth Burton course on Saturday for the tournament?

If I were you, Libby, I would compete in the West Virginia Championships (http://www.westvirginiachampionships.com/), the amateur tournament at Paw Paw. I believe Dave "The Horse" Olcott is planning to attend this inaugural two-day event. If you are hoping to stay local that weekend, the Deer Lakes Monthly (http://www.pdga.com/msgboard/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=691090&an=0&page=0#Post6 91090) will be held on Saturday, June 23.

I am definitely planning to attend this Saturday's Fairmont Club Championship (http://wvdiscgolf.org/) at Morris Park in Fairmont, WV. It is a one-day, two-round fund raiser similar to our Lakeview and Knob Hill Course Championships. The proceeds of their event will benefit the cost of the new 18-hole course currently under construction (fyi...the front nine of the new course is already installed and will be played this Saturday during the tournament). Seth Burton Memorial is a great course for those of you who have not taken the opportunity to check it out.....and it's only 90 minutes from the 'burgh (just south of Morgantown).

About 275 miles and over 4 hours away. Hey, you asked previously if anybody was going to any tournaments on June 23. You didn't say it had to be close. :D

Hey, for anyone that can make the trek eastward, don't forget about Llamapalooza! It's a one day C-tier tourney at Pinchot Park on august 5th, but if you stay the weekend, you can hit up all 54 holes at Codurus state park, and even get a sneak peek at the roughed in par 66 course we've been carving out across the lake at Pinchot.

Alanna and I are planning on going to Llamapalooza. If any Burghers would like to come with we are leaving Saturday, camping or hoteling, depends on money. I never played out there so hopefully we can get a round in Saturday evening. If anyone is interested let me know.
