Online registration for the three Pro Worlds Warm-ups is ready to go. Look for it here: http://www.takeflighttoday.com/

We're borrowing the idea from the Charlotte Points Bonanza and running three PDGA events in three days to test the courses for Pro Worlds from June 30-Jul 2. If you play at least two of the three events, you'll play the same three course layouts your division will play at Pro Worlds. Amateurs are more than welcome and your player packs each day will include Pro Worlds logo merch.

The middle day PWW2 is a B-tier Wisconsin Tour event sandwiched between two C-tiers. We'll play Blueberry Hill and Highbridge Gold. For PWWW1, we'll play Granite Ridge and the new Woodland Bear course which is coming along nicely. The grass was planted on the new fairways around Memorial Day and is now over 1" high. For PWW3, we'll play the Woodland Bear again and Highbridge Gold from the White tees (still almost 8000 ft!)

Come on up or over to Highbridge this weekend for three sanctioned events Sat-Sun-Mon. Be one of the first to test the new layouts for Worlds. The new cement pads are drying right now and the new anchors will be done tonight. The weather looks great for the weekend and not too hot. Just received some new Pro Worlds merch for sale and Am prizes with a sharp looking Buzz with Bear artwork and minis with PW logos of each course for Worlds. Reg by 9:30 each day and random dubs for fun on each course separately on Tues and Wed for July 4th.

PW2 results are up. Had some delay getting the High Speed Internet set-up today. Course record for Blueberry Hill Pro Worlds layout set by Shawn Bolchen with a 54 for 1001 unofficial rating. Jon Drummond sets the Highbridge Gold record for the PW layout with a hot 60 for a 1037 rating. That sets the SSA close to 54 for Blueberry and 65 for the Gold course. Pretty normal weather conditions with light wind. PW Warm-Up 1 results posted tomorrow.

Pro Worlds Warm-Up 1 results were posted earlier today. Granite Ridge SSA came in as expected around 58 SSA and the new Woodland Bear played tougher than expected near 55 SSA. The two Worlds TDs won their divisions with Terry Miller winning Open and I won Masters. Trygve Schadler set the Granite course record for the PW layout at 55 (1022 rating) and Terry set the Woodland Bear record at 54 (1008 rating).

If you're looking for results for the Worlds Warm-Up 3 event yesterday, there are none. After consulting the six people pre-registered, we decided to refund the entries and just do draw doubles for fun on the Woodland Bear layout. Jason Holmes and Marty Scholz smoked the course laying down a 46 for the first doubles record for this Worlds layout. Those coming to Worlds will realize how good that score is when they compete in doubles for themsleves.
