As an avid disc golfer i have always wondered why there was so little art devoted to disc golf, so i wanted to create something that would show one of the premier holes of disc golf today, Hole 5 at Winthrop Gold.

you can bid for this painting on ebay and if you have any questions, pm or email or talk to me in person if you see me at the course.

Why must art be so far out of my budget!?
I am so commissioning you to do some disc golf hole paintings to decorate my house 10 years down the road!

Great idea and great painting! Impressionism is a good style for disc golf ;)
I say great idea because I've had the same idea. Ink probably, maybe some paint or chalk (BA in Drawing). I'll be CenTex-bound for mine... no Winthrop. But all 36 holes at Circle R? Maybe...
Way to go disc golf artists. Good up.

Another fine addition to the pantheon of disc golf art. I'm a fan of the "t-shirt" quilt myself, I've seen several of those through the years.
An excellent choice of subject, as well. I have a cousin who has a side art business painting oils for country clubs. Lucrative, and he gets a lot of nice rounds of golf in the deal as well. Maybe one day, that will work for disc golf as well.

Why must art be so far out of my budget!?
$138 is dirt cheap for a painting.
I'm gonna hafta consult with the boss on this one...

I'd like to see some more disc golf art. Anyone got photos? Drawings, paintings, prints, fine photography, good stamps, full-colors, shirts. What's out there in DG art?

At AmWorlds last year there was a guy with really cool DG jewelry.
Anybody know who I'm talking about?

just so you know, i think no one has bid because of your "0" feedback. ebayers are usually safe buyers. you could probably make 25% more with a good feedback rating. you might want to consider taking it off and using someone elses account if you know someone with decent feedback. it'll be more profitable for you.

Neil Brown from St. Louis had a really awesome framed and matted photo that he took when I was down there for new years this past year. I've seen some of his other photos too and he does some awesome work.

yes i realize i didnt have a history on ebay prior to this and that may make it difficult to sell anything. I may sell some discs to get some feedback, this is my first time on ebay and i expected 0 feedback would be a problem.

The artwork for the $50000 tournament is sweet. I have the poster framed and in my office at work. Got it from Steady Ed's collection.
Zach has skills, he's working on a stamp for me right now.

DeLaveaga Hole #27 "Top of the World" would be SICK!
I don't think you could do it from a photo though, I've never really seen one that gives the view justice.
Hey, you can't go wrong by doing other Winthrop Gold holes, especially if you live near there.
I may bid on the Hole #5 painting...

Anyone know of anybody that does Disc Golf Art. Like paintings or sculptures or stuff like that. I mean so many beautiful holes to be photographed or drawn, etc...
Just wondering if anyone could help me out there!
Thanks!

Marney White (excuse my spelling if I messed up the first name!) does some absolutely awesome stuff. She's the wife of AmNats TD Todd White. This is a painting she did of Juliana Korver.

Me me me me! The drawing below (part of my thesis) is dg-inspired. I can draw/paint photorealistically too, but I like this style of pen work. This piece is 14"x17". (portfolio coming soon.. zamdesign.com)

Markham Reed from Albuquerque, New Mexico does quite a bit of disc golf inspired art. He has designed many logos for New Mexico events, plus lots of other artsy stuff. Most of it has a Native American style. Very talented individual.

Whenever I meet somebody who can paint, I ask them to do a DG one. So far I have 4, and I plan on continuing to collect as long as I can.

I also have it in the works to have one of the artists donate one to our State tournament so we can auction it off.
