I just picked up a newer run Tsunami a couple of weekends ago. It is made of new ESP plastic just like the Predator, but it feels a little better/grippier. Compared to older Pro line Tsunamis it flies faster and has more glide. I have a fire-orange 174g and it is a tad bit high speed understable, but it has a very predictable fade characteristic. All in all it goes farther than any Tsunami I've thrown and is now my touch hyzer disc and has replaced the Surge as my overstable distance driver.

The older ones were a lot like first run ESP Surge plastic. It was rigid, slick, and let quite a bit of light through if held up against a light source. The new ESP plastic is softer, grippier, and more opaque. The two plastics I don't even think are related. The older stuff feels like rigid clear Z plastic mixed with a little X plastic. The new ESP feels like a more rubbery polymer like Star plastic.

Indeed, I got to throw one at the state championships last year... At first I thought the rogue was the hurricane, but it didn't fly anything like it.

The hurricane is a re-tooled flash, known as a pop-top flash. I know a couple of guys with them in MN, they can bomb them a mile.
