This event is the week after the Great lakes and the week before the KC wide open.
We are hoping to get some top traveling pros as its is " on the way to KC from Ann Arbor.
Centralia disc golf course is one of the top 5 courses I have played out of close to 430 and the park is always in immaculate condition.
To view some video of the course go to you tube and search centralia disc golf highlights.

The long pins at Centralia were dug and poured over the last few days.
We are going over today to switch them up and play a round.
The long course will play around 10,000 feet and to a par 72.
Ill post Justin and I's scores later tonight.
Im estimating 71 to be the best.

well, I was pretty close in my guess on what scores would be shot! The 1st round on Friday Justin shot 74 +2 and I shot 75 +3
On Sunday Justin Shot 70 -2 and I shot another 75 +3
This is a true championship course and the park is as manicured as a ball golf course.
If anyone needs directions or a flier there is a link on the home page of our website.
There should be a printable version of the flier and directions, just hit the link, Gateway open flier

Well one thing for sure Centralia is probably the number 1 highest scoring 18 hole course in the world.
the course record is 70 and the average for the pros and advanced ams was close to 82.
The temp 9 was pretty cool making the rec 18 a really nice par 3 course,
best score was -4 the first day ( after the big boy) and -9 the second ( before the big boy).
I wish we could have had more players but those that were there seemed to have a lot of fun.
Justin won by 19 and I came in 2nd.
Brian Johnson won advanced shooting a 70 and tying Justin for the course record.
Don Morin edged out Chris Kinsella in the last round for adv masters and Dave Higgins from Centralia made up an 11 stroke deficit in the last round to overtake up and coming Anthony ?? ( from Charleston IL) in the intermediate division!
