The icon next to the tournament indicates that the Pre-Reg is posted...but no names listed.
Last week there were names, but they are all gone now.
Anyone know why, or where I can check to see if my entry was received? I know I can call, but I also know how annoying it can be for TDs who constantly get that call from players.
Thanks,
kgomez

Great event on truly great courses. I love the upper course! The "three circles of fun" hole and the "Avenidas de las Muertas" hole were maddenling awesome. :D
Great job Rico Family and Sylmar Friends. Thank you for all the hard work putting that on. :)

That upper course is bloody brilliant and a great challenge. My favorite hole was 13, the downhill 600ft with right-side road OB but there were so many other gorgeous and fun holes. There were a lot of great discussions on my cards about how to play holes and we all had a great learning experience from the weekend. I feel like a much better golfer after this tournament - now THAT'S a measure of success. Great job Rico's and everyone involved working their but7s off to make the event happen. (glad we had barbeque on sunday!)

AJ, It could be you writing these articles. I wrote one for the Spring Fling and it only sucked a little bit. :D

Your article did not suck! It was just practice for the next great article you will be writing.
Carl wrote the nice lil' piece on Chavez.

I might be able to write something.
I'll probably write an article about the Tour de Rizbee. I heard it's gonna be pretty awesome this year.

There are currently 28 Advanced Players. I bet you will bring your A game for 3 of the 4 rounds and that you will place in the top 10. Just my guess. :D
If your A game shows up for all 4 rounds, you will be in the top 5. :o
This prediction also applies to me...

So does this mean your prediction was right or wrong?! Either way CONGRATS Dave nice shootin'! You killed it on the very tough upper course

Thanks CHeMo. The upper course catered to my big side arm. The lower course was difficult for me, especially the final round when Matt Goland kept picking up strokes on me...
My predictions were pretty close. Congrats to Philo, what an accomplishment.
I can't wait for next year.
John, thanks for posting the re-calculated results. They have changed the ratings on the results page, but the ratings still seem incorrect. I could have sworn a 3 under on the upper course is better than a 989...

Hey, I am the one that tried to fix the ratings online.
Please let me know if the following is correct.
All Pros played Upper, Lower, Lower, Upper and All Ams played opposite. Were both courses 18 holes and were both par 54? Once I have this information, the unofficial ratings should be ok.

Suzette
The AM's played upper, lower. Then upper, lower again.
The PRO's played lower, upper. Then lower, upper again.
The lower course was a par 54 and the upper course was a par 59. Thanks for helping with this... :D

Don't forget that the Rec/Novice divisions played the same schedule as the pros. I like John's predictions for the round ratings and I hope they are correct. I do believe that it would be a crying shame if both of Roper's upper course rounds weren't 1000 rated. The first round may be the best round i've ever watched Dave play. He was hitting birdies that I didn't even know he could reach, and aside from one bad hole, everything was magic. Every risk he took worked out, he hit every long putt he had.
I'm thinking my fourth round might have been better if I used Gomez's plastic. Now we'll never know...

A 57 for the pros on the upper course on Saturday was a 1016...a 56 for the pros on the upper course on Sunday was a 1018. I think those numbers sound about right...I think I told Dave I figured it would be a 1015 and a 1020.

Thanks as always for getting things fixed quickly Suzette. It's only appropriate that the round I took the Snowman in has a rating accompanied by two other 8's!
